Who wants to be a Vampire?

I got Vampire The Masquerade : Bloodlines for Christmas and have been playing it for a bit and I like it...
You can choose a number of different paths in terms of diplomacy like... You can boost your skills in seduction, intimidation, or persuasion (and some special powers depending on the clan you choose) if you want someone to do something for you...
Seduction is cool because you can get a bunch of free blood from seducing innocents... and sex with a club owner....
But there seems to be a lot more variety in terms of interaction with people in this game as opposed to the previous, craptastical Vampire The Masquerade game.
The quests you do are kinda cool too... Like finding and eliminating a few vampires who are trying to release a plague to kill all humans and bring about this so called "Gehenna"
Anywho... I think it would be kinda cool to be a Vampire from this game because not all of them are ruthless you can choose to hang on to your humanity (for the most part) and be a good citizen and uphold "The Masquerade"
It's kinda neat, ya'll should check it out...

Its that whole can't see daylight thing, that screws it for me. Seret and I used to play masquerade and I thought it was cool.

I'd have to pass on the vampire lifestyle. No joy, no friends, no chocolate cake. I wouldn't mind having the non-bloodsucking powers though. I base my opinion on Bram Stoker's depiction (the book, not that MTV love story).
According to the book vampires could exist well in daylight, just that their powers were diminished. They couldn't cross rivers flowing in certain direction during a certain times of day either.
When in top shape, a vamp was supposed to be able to "travel like a mote of dust along a ray of moonlight" through a window. Shapeshifting, superstrength, pyshic powers, and fast movement would be cool.
Other authors have differing views of what vamps were all about.

I used to have dreams as a kid that I was a vampire. Vampirism has something erotic about it. The darkness, the pagan rituals of bloodletting, the women. So what you only can live at night? Who wants to deal with all the noise during the day?
LOL

I voted yes, because the first thing I would do if I were a vampire, the VERY FIRST THING would be to go find all of those Vampire: The Masquerade LARP'ers and EAT THEM FOR BREAKFAST.
Then I'd get to work on killing all of the goth vamp wannabees, and maybe finish up by killing Anne Rice in the most mundane fashion possible.

I would never want to be a vampire, just the guy who kills them.

Whatever you people do, don't type "LARP" into a Google window and hit enter!
It might kill you!

Zannon...you actually read the stories?
I've had some run-ins with some of these folks. In Japan on a military base of all places. When LARP's were first mentioned in this thread it reminded me of a girl who tried to "bite" another girl on the neck in a restaurant off-base. Weirdness Without Borders.

Is this a PnP game? An MMO? A computer game?
