If anyone collects Star Wars toys...

I stopped at a WalMart on my way to work this morning to pick up some stuff for work and decided to check out the toy section...Low and behold...the were already selling the 4 EP3 preview figures! Being a complete nerd...I bought all 4, under the pre-tense that my kid will play with them once he gets old enough.

Wookiee warrior - Pretty cool figure with lots of articulation

Tion Medon - Supposedly a "helpful alien", but looks kinda creepy...very nice figure.

R4-G9 - Obi'Wan's new astromech droid...eh, it's another astromech figure with a cool paint scheme.

General Grevious - All I gotta say is...hot damn, this is the best SW fig I've seen EVER!! The paint job is beautiful right down to the pattern painted on his cape. The pose is neat and he's well articulated. This puppy got opened when I got to work and is now laying a smackdown on some other figures in my office (Guess I better go back and get another one for my kid).

Good luck looking for them, they're worth it if you like figures.

So the good general is the newest member of the "panel"? Nice. Is he next to the burger meister meister burger, the fortune telling Yoda, or the French Heckler?

 My older brother has a Cable from the X-Men figure mounted to the dashboard of his SUV.

Yeah, he's 43 years old, married with two adult kids that don't like toys as much as he does. Me and him still have an unfinished G.I Joe vs. Star Wars figure battle from 20 years ago that ended in a draw.

Um, CABLE???

WHHHHYYYYYYY???? ;)

I can think of about 80 better X-Men characters to mount on the dash.

Front of the grill? Cable's got that spot locked up.

Clearly, X'an reserved his dash spot for THE most worthless of X-men...

Jubilee.

And cable wasn't an X-man, man. He was with X-Force.

You might have me there:

Oh, got me on a technicality, NERD. Turns out they're all mutants in the Marvel Universe, and if you check, I believe Keer ALSO referred to him as an X-man.

So for now you're outnumbered.

No need for name calling.

And here is how it breaks down. The series of characters was generically labeled as "X-men" figures as I recall. So Keer was NOT incorrect in calling him an X-man "figure". Howver, YOU said that you could thinkg of "80 X-men characters better than cable". Despite the fact that this is a distinct impossibility (there were not 80 X-men, even between the TWO teams), you would still be wrong in your assertion even IF there were 80 other X-men because your implication was covering X-men characters in general. Not the "X-men Series" of figurines.

Ass.

Want to put money down on that? I'd even accept a gentleman's wager.

I think I can name 80 X-men off the top of my head...and that would not include Tar Baby because I refuse to acknowledge that Marvel ever used such a horrible racial slurr as a character name.

I am starting to sell all of my Star Wars figures MOC from 97 when Kenner came back out with them. I got all the main characters, including the manly looking Leia. Are these worth anything?

No kidding. This site documents pretty much anyone who's ever even paid a visit in a single panel in an X-Men book:

The UXN

I mean, there's like 40 X-men just in the Character Spotlight section alone. Then if you start searching the Cerebro Files by alpha (and granted, there's villains and just ancillary characters in there too), you'll find like, almost a thousand characters it seems. I have no doubt that at LEAST 80 of them served on one of Xavier's teams at one time or another.

If it helps, within the last 2 years, Cable has been an X-Man...back to X-Force...and now back on his own again. So, he is technically an X-Man
