I would like to thank everyone that should up. But most importantly, I would like to thank everyone for following the rules. That was some of the best fighting I got to see.
My appologies on the confusion on the rebel side about DBing. I figured when I mentioned you guys being corpses and said no hold bars that it kinda hinted that you all could DB.
Even though I was only watching from a cell and on the map, I had a great time. I had various battle songs going from the SW movies and it just added to my experiance. Maybe next time I'll actually get to play as a combatant. Still, the award ceramony I held in my office was a nice little bonus I got to throw in there.

Yes, that was fun.. and a perfect venue as well!
I was able to spend about 1100 faction points.. sending trooper after trooper to his death against the stormtrooper rescue team.
I was confused about the DB.. I thought the event was scripted in that the rebels were suposed to lose. As such, I did not DB the imperials.
That was a very good time.

Congrats, Nyase. :-D
When you mentioned an awards ceremony it reminded me of those few space missions that you, me, and Illbleed roleplayed. The award of the special move ship disks "for services to the Empire" was a game highlight for me.

I agree. It was a great time and I believe that everything worked out very well. The sides were fairly even and I was happy I got to use my Stormtrooper and have him die for the Empire.
Good job Nyase. The event went really well.

I had fun too really. I admit I was a bit nervous when I found out it was going to be PvP. However, I soon realized this was not the typical PvP I had experienced in the past wher the Imperials buff themselves up and use their uber defenses and basically charge in and pwn everyone, calling them Noobs or whatever.
And yes I have had terrible experiences with PvP like that

However, this event was different in that both sides were unbuffed but still evenly matched and honorable. No ganking or nothing. It was fun to play even if it was a foregone conclusion that us Rebels would loose.
I hesitated to do any db because I knew this was Nyase's event and I didn't want it to take any unrealistic turns and dissapoint him. I know he said dbs were on for both side but if I was planning an event and I had a certain way I wanted it to go, I would not want people to change the outcome just because they could. I guess it just depends on how strictly something like this is scripted.

I had a lot of fun. Almost took down that big ST until i saw the one guy in all back with the imperial hat (sorry, i forgot the name) run up to me and pistol whip me.

I spent the majority of the event watching from my back, but it was enjoyable none the less.

This is one event I really *should* have been at and I could not due to real life again. I am really sorry Nyase.

It's alright. And thanks all for coming. Glad everyone enjoyed themselves. To be honest, I thought the Imperials were going to be ganked. Had a lot of no showes on that side. But, I had plans already made for if the Empire had been unsuccessful. I'll have to see what I can do to arrange another combat meet such as this.

It was very fun.
What was even better was the fact that I wasn't a master combat profession and I wasn't just ganked with the first wave.
I look forward to the next one.
