Looks ok but I cann't shake that "toy" look to every thing. I look at the screen shots and it feels to glossed and that I turn makes it feel like some one's playing with their Star Wars toy collection. Think of the Army Men vedio games but with Star Wars.

It is called Real time Strategy, it is meant to look like that. Kinda like Age of Empires 1-?

I love RTS Games and that looks great. I may finally be able to put my Star Wars Rebellion game to rest when that baby comes out. Looks great to me. I'll be picking that sucker up ASAP.

Age of Empires + Star Wars? Anybody else play Battlegrounds?

I'm on it like syrup on Pancakes. Its not that Battlegrounds was all that great of a game, it was pretty limited, but I had HOURS of fun playing it online with my friends. Rebellion was good too so this one is the bag already.

I thought Rebellion was UI cumbersome, but good fun. I prefer games that mix RTS tactical battles with Turn-Based Campaign Strategy. I'm hoping that this carries that mix.

The screenies actually looked a bit like the <insert ancient timeperiod here> TOTAL WAR. Anyone checked that out? The formations of troups had that same look. They say it's a new engine, but a Star Wars: Total War would merit serious consideration on my VERY "frugal" part.

All I have to say is BOO TO RTS!!!!

I HATE THE GENRE!!! Every game is always the same.... Build some barracks so you can make troops, but to make troops you need farms to feed them and money to pay them so mine for gold then build some farms... GAH SO STUPID AND TEDIOUS!!!

Granted sometimes the animations for the games look cool, like in War of The Ring, Special Attacks and special characters were really neat, but again, the style of play is redundant...

Republic Commando, now there is a game more to my liking. New-ish style of squad-based combat, AI is really high-tech (for both enemies and allies). No more stupid cronies following you around doing nothing until you switch to control them for their special abilities... *cough cough* BREED *cough cough* WORST GAME EVER....

But anyway, back to my original point... RTS hasn't changed in the entirety of it's existance, I just don't understand the appeal...

I loved battlegrounds...until I got tired of the RTS genre. They need to change the system up a little and stop copying warcraft over and over. May try it though...

As long as I can play soly the space part, I'm all for this. God I love rebellion. Might have to reinstall that again and start a game up. Nothingl ike having 6 death stars destroy every planet in the galaxy. hehehehehe.
