I have seen the sickest PC mod ever! (pic, FIXED FOR X'AN)

and I can't find any pics of it on the internet, but here's the deal...

there's a magazine called Computer Power User, and they have "special editions" they put out every so often.

This one is called PC MODDER, and it's about 230 pgs, printed on non-glossy "cheap" paper, but this custom case is on the cover so you can't miss it...

It's a replica of the strider of half life 2...for those that don't know, it's a 3 legged alien killing machine that's really really tall, like this...

the strider case mod sits over FOUR FEET TALL, AND HAS SERVO-ACTUATED MOVING PARTS!

I suggest you go to your local bookstore and find it and read it there (mag costs $10). It tells how he built it from scratch in 3 weeks.

The thing I hate most about that pic is that it's not even in the game (the pic situation).

They fabricated it pre-release. There's no point in the game where that exact situation happens (on that street, with those guys running away from the strider).
