Wow.. But how far off is this? I hope all these things aren't just propaganda with a year wait time.

I like it from the perspective of player actions having an impact. This gives the GCW meaning.

I will be pissed if the Imps whoop it up on Tatooine and Mos Eisley is overrun with stormies.. but I guess I have to deal with it because such a thing is possible in this timeline.

I am a little iffy about Tatooine being included in the GCW.. it is so far off the beaten path, and that is part of it's charm. On the other hand, the early days of all the raiding between Bestine and Ancorhead were kinda fun.

Actually the one time we see Mos Eisley in A New Hope it is full of imps and it seems like they are in command whereever they appear, so it doesn't seem so unlikely to have them there.
Though Das won't like it ^^

The one thing i'm missing in the new GCW concept is the participation of neutral forces especially on planets like Tatooine where crime lords are a considerable force.

Looks like I'll continue to stay on Rori then. Things haven't changed much at all, and the rebels still outnumber the Imperials from what I've seen. I suspect there won't be any Imperial held worlds for more than a day if at all.

I've seen ONE Light-side Knight, and over a dozen Dark Knights. On Gorath everything allways seems to be imperial dominated.

Moment of silence for the death of continuity.

Although this sounds fun this will untimalty lead to futher distancing from the Star Wars feel. The majority of players are rebel so the majority of the planet will be rebel. It will soon feel like the Rebelion is the official government and that the Empire is the rebellion. Personally I play this game because Star Wars was a cool idea. Lucas created a fictional reality in with a massive imposing fastious government rulls with an iron fist and I have never felt that though the course of my time on this game. If it wasn't for all of you I would have felt this game a long time ago. The concept is cool but it should not be implemented on Corellia, Naboo, or Talus. These worlds should remain Imperial until the the time line of the game is progressed past the point in which the Empire is over thrown.

Yes and no. I have hope because:

1) The number of rebels is not indicative of the number of active Rebel PvP'ers. Unless I am just missing them, I rarely see overt rebels. I see overt imperials all the time.

2) The community tends to balance itself out. As immature as some people are, even they get bored with a one-sided fight. If one side is winning badly, people will defect from it.

3) In the past you could argue that the rebels had better leadership. I think the pendulum may have swung to the other side.

The only reason I felt this way too is because so many Germans are Imperial. And I think we have established a small consensus that German roleplayers have mastered exceptional planning when it comes to attacks and invasions.
