Space Missions!

I'm looking for a few loyal pilots to run an important errand for the Empire. I'm looking for between 4-5 courageous pilots to assist MSG Illbleed on the missions. Please meet at Nym's Spaceport, Lok at 12pm MST.Multiplayer ships encouraged(and may be needed) to complete this mission. Become a hero for the Galactic Empire! The event will be held Sat the 26th.


OOC-- This is for Imperial Inquisition, 3,3,3,3 missions. This should be the last mission until Tier 4. If interested please let me know, PM in game or on the boards.

If Espada and I are around - we're in the groove for flight tactics lately. If nothing IRL comes up, can some covert rebs (priv pilots) join you OOC? You could even make it IC if you had a good moral reason for these missions. Espada's a mercenary and I have a conscience complex that let's me work with decent, honorable imperials. I'll pay him for you /grin.

If the system won't let us shoot at reb ships, maybe we could be NPC gunners on Nyase's Decimator??

Much spacelane changing, hyperjumping, and bogie blasting if you need some help with your piloting template. I could use some help with mine.

Double XP still in effect and all I need is 900k (less than one Tier 4 box) to qual for my master mission!

This is surely one of the worst times to recruit for space with all the rest of the game being judo flipped, but I've been neglecting my piloting to Beta test all this new gristle. However, there is some new heavy RoW space content that Master Pilot status would help so....

If anyone's interested, I'll be zooming around from battle zone to repair dock much of Sunday. Privateer 4-3-4-4 and counting...

After a three-part mission of what had to be near an hour of anti-Valarian strikes for Jabba...

...near the end of it, escorting some hi-jacked Freighter through wave after wave of attackers....

...damned frieghter that couldn't do the jump if Van Halen, KrissKross, House of Pain, and the Pointer Sisters were on board....

Some chump random mob aggroes the freighter and fails the mission for us. Pissed off to the highest of pisstivity.

Great xp though. Very good loot too...

Even saw a Jedi Starfighter out there. The player's toon was standing outside on the hull, blasting ships with a Lightning Beam Cannon, shouting "My ship is teh PWNxORs!1!!"

Just as I snapped a screenshot he activated the cloaking device.

Yeah, those tier4 missions become nigh impossible to solo. I used to help people with those all the time and it is very likely I have seen the mission you are talking about several times. If I am online when you are looking to fly, give me a tell and I will help if I cant.

Note: We'll probably need to kill some random spawns for 15 min so I can re-learn how to fly. It's been a few months.

Yeah, I had another Tier 4 veteran with me, and we were cool until that one measly un-related spawn hit the freighter while we were out dogfighting. Right before, the same spawn almost took out my wingman as he was fighting too close to them.

I was thinking to do the exact same scenario except this time just have one or two folks do nothing but shadow the frieghter the whole way through until it jumps. Even when the mission aggro hit it, it always had plenty of time to recharge before the next wave.
