Ok, what program is everyone using for their ingame filming, and where can I pick it up? I've had a couple of ideas for some 'mini series' and am dying to try em out.

The thing with fraps is, you have to buy the full version to get more then 30 secs of film and getting rid of that annoying FRAPS symbol in your video.

Thanks for the link. I'll fool around with it some later. Is it worth getting the full ver, or there something better out there?

You're really not going to find anything simplier or easier out there. If you really want to make in-game films and plan to use it quite a bit get the full version. Just don't waste you money if you don't think you'll get your money's worth out of it.
Also a tip I can offer if you do get it. Make sure you capture the video to a second hard drive if you can. The program takes a lot of resources and if you capture to the same hard drive that you're running the game on you will probably experience a lot of slowdown. Just a suggestion for smoother video capture and gameplay.

My game crashes out, Im considering making shorter burst recordings to negate this... but we'll see.

I second Seret on his tips. I have a second hard drive and I save my Fraps files to there...in filming Cosmic Girl I took some ridiculous amount of space up...almost the whole thing. Also, I had to play with my settings a lot to make it capture film smoothly. It helps to restart your computer before you film, set it to 20 fps (smooth enough to look pretty, not so high that it junks it up)...also don't run anything but Galaxies and Fraps.

Im having trouble getting it to record in swg without a program error that in turn causes a CTD...
I have taken several small clips but it still is hell waiting to get back in the game.
I dont have a second hard drive, but I have an 80Gig... I only have 512 ram though, even though its the faster stuff.

Can anyone tell me how to arrange the camera for head on shots while running?
I cant figure out how to really manipulate the camera or lock it in a certain possition or anything... in other games you can freeze the camera anywhere and run your char off to who knows where...
I need some pointers.

Toggle chase mode using the period "." key on the keypad.
