Few facts about Jaminos IC

[Jaminos]

Ok as many of you know Jaminos is a bounty hunter and credit lover. I thought I should clear some things up about him that might make you confused or mad.

First of his Helmet.

The Helmet is of Ubes make but has been modified for any condition. He helmet has a rebreather so any toxic fumes will be nuilified. Also his helmet has a comm system build in so he never has to take it off. Some other things and most used is his special Scanner that can detect devices such as listening devices and trackers. It also has built in radar and other interface items. He can download infromation to his helmet and transport it. His helmet is just as expensive as his ship or more. His helmet also has a built in explosive detection device like Bobba fett only it is more of a sylent alarm. His voice filter also will nulify any objects that can record sound. All they will hear is a loud pinging noise. His Helmet also has a built in one way communication system with his ship so he can know how it's status is and where it is as well as if anyone is in it.

Jaminos's Pistol,

An extension of is body he carries a modified DE-10 that has several power settings and he spends much of his time adding new attachments to it to make it more efficent. His pistol has a hair trigger as well as an anti magnetic traction built in so it will not just fly out of his holster if someone happens to have some gigantic magnet in their pocket

Jaminos's Datapad.

Much like Bobba fett he keeps his Datapad attached to his wrist and it has verious special abilitsy one of which is jaming signals.

Jaminos's Duster,

Nothing is special with his Gunmans duster except it holds gadgets that he may need to use. It also carries an Insignia on his right arm but only Jaminos knows what it means.

Jaminos's holster,

Nothing Special is about it except it holds his Deadly DE-10. It also is normaly opened for quick draw and is only cosed when he is in a safe place alone.

Other then that there is a survival knife Jaminos keeps attached to his holster.

I hope this clears some things up. Also Make it noe I am not going to add anything elles in the middle of RP that Jaminos dose not have. Now you know about everything he has and dose so you do not have to think about it.

Good detail. Also, Jaminos, I think I'm to blame for the tracking misconception everyone was forming. Since I was using them as a backup for when a friend got captured during this last scenario; people made the assumption of the following:

1) I was behind the kidnappings because of the tracking devices.

2) That this was also blurred to the affect that some of them assummed that that was what some of the bounty hunters were using. (we see this in real life as well... so and so has this or that one claims and the opposite turns out to be true)

I do appologize for any trouble I may have caused. *grins* I never pass up an opportunity for a follow up adventure though. I think we've got this one cleared up though.

Honostly i was rping once and this guy had a built in magnectic device and tried to get Jaminos's pistol out of his holster. So Jaminos throws a thermal detonator at the guy and he gets blownm up while jaminos gets paid about 50k

How come the magnet didnt pull the detonator out of your pocket before you armed it...HMMM??

In theory he could produce some kind of electromagnet interfearance...but then all his own electronics would be shorted out unless he was using some kind of lead shielding.

I think I'll make my armor "thermoptic" so I'm always invisible.

I could post all the different ways it works but it would take to long besides. Think about how much effort it takes to even get something like that to work. Besides I have only used it once and it was when somebody placed a voice recorder on one of his articals of clothing. You think Jaminos would spend millions of credits on devices that could only jam one type of frequency besides this is for fun and not real life. If you want Real life facts then none of these things are true for anybody and 90% of the star wars universe is fake to a point. But it is a game let people have their fun.

There is a difference between fantasy and totally overboard though. If you never have any weakness then nobody is gonna want to play with you after awhile. Your putting yourself into a corner its gonna be hard to get out of soon. Even I get captured or incapped. Kirt incapped me before he was even in MERCS, then I ended up killing a MBH who killed him later on. So everyone has a weakness. You cant be untouchable...its just not fun

That is exactly it! Jaminos's biggest weakness is his his greatest weapon. With all his gadgets he only has skills with Gagjets such as a Pistol. He can use a pistol any way he feels like and almost never miss. You come up and hit him one in the wrong place close corders and he will fall down incapped. Jaminos is far from invulnerable. He can settle for close combat but anyone who has close combat that has a weapon like a sword or a knuckle will take him over easy. Jaminos hides behind his gadgets like a child who cowwors behind a parent.

Jaminos only can detect and attack from behind. In a full fledged battle he will loose. Besides he can only detect some things. His gadgets are only bits of wire and steel. Jaminos relies on them too much. Even if I went master tk master pistoleer he would still just be a man with gadgets and himself. I avoid confrintations with people as much as I can because I can because it just means that he will loose. I do not care if he has a legendary DE-10 with good buffs and armor, he is still vulnerable to anyone. Jaminos knows he is weak in defence and in technology. All you need is a short blast of EMP and he is left with a dead gun and a blank screen on his helmet.

I am sorry if you see me as some sort of god mode role player, but the fact is Jaminos is as week as any other player and only can do so much. If you want to have an easy fight over him just fight him hand to hand or without buffs and he uses a pistol. Last ditch will drain him down to a point of danger.

Kirt incapped Jaminos just last weekend. It was a fair fight and I lost even without spice. If I had buffs and he spice, he still has more skill over me then I do. I posted this topic to explain what Jaminos can and cannot do.

I'm not talking real life facts. We are talking what is theoretically possible the the SW Universe. If your device covers all possibilities for the recording of sound waves, then the only way a being could hear you would be friggin telepathy.

By my saying I'm not buying that turd (I'm still not) I'm conceding the REST of the unlikely stuff you wrote into the helmet. We're all here to have fun, but you can't bend the laws of physics. Well...unless you're jedi...

Even a Jedi has limits! I'm playing Both Vreese and Batak as Jedi even thought I don't have the actual template yet. RP is much more fun and less childlike than the template Jedi playing anyway.

A good example of how I limit myself... I decided early on that Batak was a good healer and surface reader. However I limit the ammount of times he can heal or the kinds of wounds he can heal. I also limit reading of thoughts to just surface thoughts and I can only empathically 'talk' to someone I've formed a bond with. Meaning I'd have to know them well or they'd have to be in a state of very emotional turmoil for it to be created... and most likely Force Sensitive themselves.


The idea is feasible, yet limited, powers and gadgets is what everyone is looking for. Otherwise we end up in the whole Monty Python what is an Argument argument. "This is an Argument." "No it isn't." etc, etc.
