Some of us were talking about visiting other servers to see how their RP community works. I know this is late notice, but here's an event on the SUNRUNNER SERVER, tomorrow night at 9pm EST (6pm PST).

I'll Be there working as a bartender. My character name is sunrunner.Syrossk, and all are welcome to join me for the fun. I can supply some creds for outfits, if you contact me at least an hour before the event....and I know several of you already have characters on Sunrunner. Below is the message I received about the event:

"Basically Shadow Kings will be a weekly RP event held each monday night, with a theme of a criminal organization. think Jabba's palace with more class.

there will be music, dancing, "private entertainment", alcohol, spice, gambling (with real credits), and hopefully some trouble."

I know I'm new and all and y'all don't really know me, but I should warn you that I have severe alt-itis...I love making new toons. And events like this will only encourage it.

So in other words, I'll be there. :-)

Yes, this is where we were to be married. I've cut down on my time there, but got hired on for an RP event, and I look forward to seeing some real RP on sunrunner, instead of a room of 50 people not talking.

I still have my toon "Ikade" there from the last event I visited. If I recall I was a decent way up Musician. Maybe I can perform with you for a few songs.

I am going to re-roll my Bria character on Sunrunner and come check this out. It should be fun.

I guess you forgot I'm not a musician on Sunrunner? You'll probably be well received as a musician...and I guess I can perform with you for a few songs, if coerced.

I thought it was a pretty nice set up. I learned some things about playing characters other than Whar...

I hate it.

I had an Ithorian, who ws depressed over having lost his career. He couldn't cut it. The human that showed up after the Ithorians departure and evident suicide was "too much like Whar" I guess...

I'll have to work on a new way to play him...

Yeah.. I have to agree with Whar, it is less fun playing an undeveloped character who has no connections to anyone in the galaxy.

Plus I made her a twilek because the last event we visited was in a twilek city. This char is not different enough to be interesting for me.

I'm sorry I missed the event but I couldn't view the site for awhile; E-bo cleared this up today though. Anyway, I have a practically new toon named Tru'eb Kala'uun on Sunrunner. Apparently a Lekku member there came to Gorath looking to get some of Lekku on Gorath to go over there so I checked it out. I'd be up for it though again, if some of you want to get together to build up our newbie toons together. :-D

I enjoyed the trip...getting to play an "evil" toon was much fun. Though I will admit it was strange playing a new toon again. If anyone wants to play on them more than and I'll bring Blim out again.

Apparently, Sunrunner events work JUST like the Roba! If you show up on time, and leave before an hour of the event...you'll miss the huge influx of people that arrive late. There were lots more Sunrunners there after most of the Gorathians ran back home. Tov, Whar, KS and I stuck around until almost the end of the party. I had some frustrations with bartending and Syrossk didn't enjoy himself much, but I had fun.

Bartending takes a little more research than I thought.

KS and I had a run-in with a guy named Garlic Crouton. He's someone we'd met before, but since then, he's developed into a pimp. Sy got to fume and threaten, while the guy did a good job of attempting to hire some of the female patrons. He's kinda entertaining when he's playing his role and not griefing.

I stayed an hour and 15 min.. it looked like people were leaving, so I bailed as well.
