Club Midnight -- March 13th
Thanks for posting these hon. I usually do these on Monday.. but the boards were hosed... and I totally forgot.
Apparently my internal programming forbids me to post these events on days other than Monday.

We should probably repost this in the GM forum... but here's an idea for our 'regular' recurring events as far as forum posting goes:
1) Could we post this once seperately and lock the thread so people can view it to see what it's about. Saves us a little time reposting the same old thing over and over and we can modify it as needed.
2) Perhaps posting a 'rules' for the games on the same thread would help too. That way all the information is locked in and viewable in one place. I guess I'm suggesting we do a 'locked' Event Forum seperate from the rest of this.
(just trying to see if theres a way we can keep clutter down. Again, sorry if I'm overstepping my bounds here.)

I like it the way it is.
The purpose of these threads is to 1) be a calendar item and inform everyone of the event and 2) allow people to discuss the event leading up to and follow the date of the event.

We have rules for the games posted up somewhere...however, I think making a sticky would not remind people as well as the weekly reminders do. I don't think we need to worry about forum clutter--these reminders are brief and serve a specific function that is established.
Name of event, time, place, date, and brief description is an accepted and frequently used format for posting events. It helps events stay visible and posting this way on the board allows those posting to add events to the calendar easily.

*nods* Just an idea since it's recurring. I like to save my sister's as much typing as I can. We need all of your most beautiful hands in good shape for RPing. Me too for that matter.

Aww.. it is mostly a cut and paste exercise anyways. But I appreciate the sentiment.

I will try and make it. Last time I went there I was doing guard dutey for MERCS. Novall forced me to take my helmet off...*shakes fist* Now I can go alone as always and get a job from someone, that reminds me I need to talk to Zannon.

Last night was probably the busiest casino night we've ever had. It was so packed that I found it nearly impossible to follow the spatial chat...plus i was sick and kept having to step away from the computer, so that didn't help either.
Thanks to everyone who came. It was a really great time, probably the best we've had. I want to extend a special thanks to Novall and Jabe for running a little mission for a few folks that ended at the casino, it seemed like the one guy who was a completely noobie character had a good time because he stayed for about 3 hours....ANNNNNND I especially want to thank Dwilah for sending out a personal invite to 80+ people on the spontanious RP list, it seemed like a lot of them showed up last night.
Thank you everyone,
Zannon

Really, really good turnout.
It's alway good when the crowd outnumbers the band. Makes it feel less like the movie SpinalTapp.
Iago kicks he Nargalon as the wireless amp picks up Imperial Shuttle transmissions.

Why not just make "10" louder?E-bo Obi wrote:Does his amp go up to 11 too?Isleh wrote:Really, really good turnout.
