Recovery and Ylesia are also part of the NJO series. Even if they are EBooks, they still exist.

Actually I don't think Recovery fit the continuity of the series properly. Though it could have happened during the series I think some of the events described were a bit out of sync with the actual book books.

I never really looked at the E-books. I usually did my reading on the bus or siting at work. Also there may have been a new book or two that has come out since I did this list, been a while since I was in a book store last.

I just have to point out how annoyed I am that R.A. Salvatore couldn't kill off one of his own fantasy characters so came over to Star Wars and had to wipe Chewie out in a very unwookiee like death.

Granted I haven't read his latest trilogy so maybe he's corrected this but still the point remains. If that was 30 years after ANH why not kill one of the old guys off?

It was a wookiee-ish death. He died noblely, saving those he had sworn his life to protect. I hated it when he died, but I don't think it was a bad way to go.

and it did make the books easier to read without a wookiee. I hate the way they try to show wookiee speech in writing. We know they don't speak basic. Just translate it for us using normal quotes.

He blew up on a planet, that's not the way to go. He should have been gunned down in a fire fight taking down 25 storm troopers before eventually giving way, and his sacrifice saved Solo Family allowing them to escape.

Oh well. He's dead. Move along. Move along. Besides there is peace with the remnant now.

Agreed. Lame. Though I wouldn't blame Salvatore. Given a more free reign from the publisher, I think Salvatore would have done it slicker. Look at how raw Drizzt is. Given freer reign I think all of the SW books would be alot better.
