Hi All.
Well, since I have been posting on here for the last few days and I haven't done so yet, I figured it was time to introduce myself. My name is Vanwa Aran. I started playing SWG since launch day. Many of you know Briltari and it was actually she who had gotten me into this game. I know her in rl and for weeks leading up to launch, this is all she talked about. When launch came I pretty much had no choice but to play and boy am I glad I did. I must say that dispite all the negetive things that people say and have had happened, Im still here and loving every min of it.
A little about my toon:
Vanwa Aran actually means "The Lost King" in elvish (Briltari helped me come up with that. Thanks Bril
) I Have been a rebel since the beginning and will be until the end. Over the course of almost 2 years Van has been through many fierce battles. He has seen many friends come and go. As you would expect, this has changed him. In the begining his heart was always in the right place but his head was clouded. He rushed into things to quickly and always seemed to end up on the wrong side. Durring one really bad battle, he lost it. He had seen enough.
After the fight was over and things calmed down, he realized a change was in order. He wasn't ready for the evil that is war. He needed to train his body and mind. He needed to focus. He needed a purpose. He gave up drinking, retired from the Rebel army where he had acheived the rank of Lt Colonel and took to improving himself. After several months of training and traveling the galaxy over, an old man came to visit him. He gave Van a new mission and a new porpuse. Now Vanwa seeks a way to help bring peace to the galaxy just as he has brought peace to himself.
Ok so that wasnt so short. Sorry all but like may of you, I have been around awhile and have a bit of history to tell.
