I used to have theme songs for my characters in UO... Now I've slowly started to give ones to Rebecca. I'd like to download yours and listen to them if they exist. :)

Rebeccas would most likely be... "Easier to Run" by Linkin Park
"Battle Ready" by Otep.
And... Although this is a bit out of place... Some people cant tell Rebeccas inside personal stuff... "Book of Love" by Peter Gabriel.

I'd be interested in hearing peoples responses.

I played 5 years on Catskills, where were you Becca?
As for as themes go for Zyre I would go with Housequake by Prince and for Reylo I think oddly enough either Desperado by the Eagle or In Your Eyes
by Peter Gabriel.

I think Batak's was always Bonny Portmore. A traditional scottish orchestrated music produced and arranged by Stephen Graziano. Most of you will recognize it from Highlander fame. The music is bright but also had a sadness to it that just matched his personality. I also found that Lifehouse's 'Hanging by a moment'/ Texas' 'Like Lovers' (Holding On)/ and LeAnn Rimes 'Please Remember' all appealed to his kind, yet sad, spirit.

Vreese's is a little more sparatic. It might be Britney Spear's 'Crazy' Dark Club remix. Or turn just as quickly into Rob Zombie's 'Living Dead Girl'. From Liz Phair's quick whipped edgy vocals and that of equally talented Poe; Vreese's soundtrack is one that reflects a certain need to rebel wither or not you actually enjoy what your listening to. If that makes sense.

As for Grieves... the evil man behind it all. Only the Imperial March is suiting for him. Or the motiffs of such metal legends as Ozzy, Judas Priest, or some good torture music playing in the background.

When I first came to Gorath, The Levellers' "The Boatman". Then, as I became used to the Roba, the "In Taberna" sequence from Carmina Burana. Now it's Berlin's "You Don't Know".

Looking forward to when it will change to something else. :???:

Whar- "Invincible" by Skillet.
but Vertigo by U2 is a good shifting song.
but when it comes down to it, anything by Uriah Heap fits him I think...
like "stealin" and "easy livin"

As for Batak, I would think his theme song would be more like... "Aqualung"
and for Greives torture music, would "Stuck in the Middle with You" be apropriate? (Resevoir Dogs reference)

I've drawn far too many pictures of Dwilah than I care to admit to Under the Stars, the love theme from Attack of the Clones.

When it comes to combat, Akura's song is "Push It" by Static X. It's hard driving and has just a raw energy to it.

I still trying to place other songs with other situations.

by Keer
Funny this coming up. After a long absence from my character, it took some inspiration to get comfortable with it again, sometimes musical.

Of the several moods that inhabit Keer Tregga, all spin fast from 3 central gears.

1.) Cold, subversive capitalism.

Smuggler's Blues by Glenn Frey

Take It in Blood by Nas

2.) Gritty finesse. The way it happens...

Spot Rusherz by Raekwon the Chef

Again, Take It in Blood by Nas

3.) An alien reacting to a more alien environment.

One Night in Bangkok by Murray Head (<----love that song)

Hmm theme songs

1.Back in Black by AC/DC that would be the suiting up and getting ready for combat music.

2.Freebird when a long struggle ends

3. 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' by Green Day when something sad is going on.

4. Country boy can survive for when im being hunted down by someone.

General Theme for The Shadowpaw's personality - "Death of Seasons" by AFI side by side with "Missing" by Evanessence. Listen to them back to back, don't try and tell me that's not a sad soul.

Combat music - Metallica Albums - Kill Them All, And Justice for All, Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, and Black Ablum

Dancing music - The Mars Volta Album - "Frances the Mute." If you don't know The Mars Volta, this album is a mix of Spanish dance music, i.e. salsa, merengue, etc., and todays rock. Excellent combination.

Side-note...

Emperor Palpatine's Fight theme should be the song "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica! :D

After using Reylo's teras kasi skills to fight a seemingly never ending wave of Canyon Corsairs, all the while standing in the middle of a growing pile of bodies. I absolutely hear Prodigy backing me with "Smack the Bitch Up".

Wow..another Static X fan :D But my fav of theirs is 'Bled For Days' I got to see them in concert with a good friend, at the House of Blues in Orlando FL back in 1998. Was lots of fun.

But I never really thought of a 'theme song' for Weyune. I don't know if I could associate any RL music with her. I suppose the 'Love Theme' from attack of the Clones would fit her love of Isleh though. Im open to suggestions for other aspects of her though. :D

LOL :D Or After you take on wave after wave of Black Sun while on the Secrets of Syren quest on Rori you might hear Eminem song "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" to end as you stand in the middle of the pile :D

Trust me, Isleh and I know from experience.
