4 Horsemen of Apocalipse (Comic Fan Question)

I was just brainstorming ideas for potential comic book stories and I started off on a tangent thinking about who I would pick to be beefed up and made into the 4 Horsemen of Apocalipse (Marvel Comics). I figured this would be a fun little question for my fellow comic fans to play with so here it is.
If you could chose any Marvel character to be a Horseman of Apocalipse who would it be and why?
Here's my choices:
War--Goblin Queen (aka Madalin Pryor) I picked her bacause she could easily manipulate heads of state into declaring war on who ever she wants and if you couppled that with her ability to call her own small army of demonds as the Goblin Queen you's have a good fit.
Famine--Sauron (that Teridactal mutant) I would warp his ability to steal the life force off of others so that he wouldn't have to touch his victum just be near by. I would also make the after affect be like the victum starved to death. Apocalipse, however, wouldn't want to chance him turnning back to human so he traps Sauron in lizard form.
Pestilence--Omega Red. He has death spores that make people sick, need I say more. I would however have Apocalipse chance the not so leathal "death spores" into the techno-organic virus he infected Cable with.
Death--Mimic. Why make one of the original X-Men your horseman of death when you can have all five in one body. Mimic would have telepathy, telikinesis (Jean Grey), lazers shooting out of his eyes(Cyclose), big black raven wings(Angle), increadibly strong and agile(Beast), and would be able to freeze anything with just a touch (Ice-Man, Mutant-X version). He would also look like a black panter since they turned Beast into a blue lion.

In a What If? kinda tick I would go with Apocalypse doing a Dracula kinda thing and using 4 women as his Horsemen/Brides.
War = Lady Sif the Asgardian warrior
Famine = Rogue with her ability to drain the essence from those she touches
Pestilence = Typhoid Mary as featured in the JR Jr. drawn Daredevil run
Death = Danielle Moonstar, who has at times been linked w/ valkyrie
Zzzzzz

I dunno, I think the original 4 horsemen that Apocalypse had fit the bill pretty well.

Agree with Zannon, but to help out your roster:
Not so sure about War and Famine, sorry.
But for Pestilence there's Plague of the Morlocks.
Death could be Selene, the psychic vampire /telekinetic mutant who was former Black Queen of the Hellfire Club.
Also for Death, there's always Thanos!!!
Then he could steal all the powers of the other 3 Horsemen and tackle Apocalypse himself for the title! (At least that's how Jim Starlin would write it.

)

If Jim Stalin wrote it the entire Marvel Universe would go after the 4 Horsemen and Thanos would kill them all. He'd then make Apocalypse himself into a keychain.
I'm with Zannon as well. The originals were born and bred to be the 4 Horsemen. I did like him making Angel into Archangel and the new Death though.

I agree that the original Horsemen where good. Heck they were created specifically to be the four horsemen. But I do like the idea of playing with current characters powers and making them into the 4HM.
The last story line they did with Apocalipse was called something like Dawn of Apocalispe. In it they finally revieled who the profisised 12 muntant are, and a new 4HM that I didn't like all that much. War was Lady Deathbird of the Shi'ar Empire, Pestilence was some new guy calling himself Pestilence, Famine was for some unknown reason Caliban (the pasty white guy that can detect mutants), and death was Wolverine. I really hated them making Wovie into a horseman because they already did that with Angle, and it took them less than one issue for them to bring him back to their side. Personally I think the only reason they had him become death was to give and excuse to give him his adimatium back.

Well, yeah, there was that...and the fact that he is an all-around ass kicker. AND Canadian.
Just on a side note Jerrel, I would hate to see you go thorough all the effort to draw and ink a comic cover that has the word "Apocalipse" on it, only to then have to redraw and re-ink it to say "Apocalypse".

HAR HAR HAR verry funny. Note the lack of hummor in the laugh. Besides the artist doesn't handle any of the writing. They have a seperate guy for that called the letterist (I think thats what he's called). You can see in any comic that they use a diffrent guy for that.

Not to get technical, but typically the
writer handles the writing, and the letterer handles putting what the writer wrote in word balloons on the page.
But even THAT is a dead profession, as it's now handled by the colorist team typically, using fonts and Photoshop.

True however there are still a few graphic studio's that are hired specifically to do lettering. Any who I was just pointing out that if I did get hired to draw a cover with Apocalypse on it I wouldn't be required to write anything not even the title of the book so I wouldn't have to redraw anything.
