I Should Have Been A Priest

I have three weddings to perform this week, one tomorrow night, and two on Friday (one in space and the other on the ground an hour later).

And of course I will be making sure each ceremony is different from the other. I owe it to the folks to make their moment special. But I got a feeling I will need a case of Mountain Dew or Red Bull to make it through the week.

I think a few people here can understand that sometimes its not easy being a community leader...

You could always explore some facets of their culture in the ceremony. Bringing up elements of their individual histories makes it more interesting as well.

Doing fun things like binding people together and making them bleed really makes the ceremony more meaningful.

My last suggestion... offload some of the work. Make part of the ceremony a "profession of love", where each of the people to be wed speaks to eachother and proclaims their feelings for one another. It helps to give them some of the stage. :D

Or have them walk around a table a la Uncle Jessie in that episode of "Full House". That would be rockin'.

I have only had one wedding to go to myself where I stayed the whole thing and that was my own. It was a true Mercs kinda thing with Novall leading it and Ekade there for support. But in the end Jaminos's wife dies anyways. I remember going to Ekade's wedding and leaveing at the begining of the ceremoney because Back when I was in thune for a week they said they were under assult by imps and I arrived there to find it empty except for a blown up ATST so I rsuhed back to the star port and waited 10 mins for it to arrive then took another 10 mins to get from corillia to Naboo then I found it empty. I was mad that I missed Ekade's wedding but got my revenge never the less on someone.

So you missed the whole part with Tramel trying to arrest the groom after the ceremony? That was all sorts of wacky. :D

WHAT?! How can you not know what I am talking about? I am talking about the episode of "Full House" where Uncle Jessie "accidentally" gets married to his old sweetheart (who's family is like hardcore greek orthodox) by walking around a table together. They play it up like some kind of age old tradition that gets ya hitched.

THAT'S what I am talkin' about!

I was most likely just getting from the dant start port to the corillian star port. I still feel guilty missing that.

A not-so-wise Priestess once looked at her exorbitantly high post count and winced.

A just as wise bounty hunter once said "There are many paths in life some used more then others but the question is which one will you take?" And it just happens that same bounty hunter took the path he wish he would have not taken and now he regrets takeing it but accepts that he did what he did.

Each wedding party has come up with their own vows and the internet has been great help for creating ceremonies. I do have to make one ceremony a little more personal than the others since my alt toon is the one getting married.

Now to just get through the first one tonight. I have macros to load for the ceremony, and my alt was informed last night that he is a groomsman as well as needed to play music for the wedding.

Talk about running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Tonight is going to be fun, fun, fun.

And the wise Zabrak came along and said: "Quote not thyself and thou shall stop wincing!"
