Pretty much right.
Though I want to know what part of the country says "The Devil is Beating his Wife" when it rains while the sun is shinning. What do they say when the gloomy outside but not raining, "The Devil is giving his old lady the ole Pickfork Suprise?"

I am a tad confused about the 0% midwestern. I hav never lived outside of the Chicago suburban area except for when I was at school in missour-ah, and all I would EVER hear from people is how I had a midwestern accent.
Although I personally feel that "midwestern accent" means "lack of colloquial pronunciations". Linguists say that most network news anchors speak in what can be considered a "midwestern accent" because it sounds more plain and universal than other American dialects.

Do you use unnecessary prepositions at the end of sentences like most Chicogoans?Krusshyk wrote:Ok, now it is working for me...here is me profile...

For example, "Where are my keys?".. a Chicogoan would way "Where are my keys at?"
My relatives from Maryland accuse me of having a midwestern accent and I say the same thing.. "I don't have an accent." I don't get it.
