So they are not permanent when chosen? I suppose that a replacement limb could be "clone grown" in a lab somewhere, then reattached later. I wonder how long until the cyber-limbs have to come off.

And I like that you can get saddled with one of those things if you're not careful to insure on a danger world. Adds a bit of threat to the higher level worlds.

Depends on who is getting shot at the most.

Those have got to be the ugliest thing in game. Who would want something so hideious attached to them? Looks like I have to stop my constant dying, because I'll be damned If i get stuck with one of those ugly POS.

I thought cybernetics were suppose to be part of the new CU and a side effect of cloning...? I guess they trashed that idea and are using them as an enhancement.

Really ugly... but it's both Jabe.

Clone without storing your clone data on one of the elite planets ( planets without full fledged medical centers and cloning facilities? ) and you may be inflicted with one that is a disadvantage.

There will be loot cybernetics that have advantages.

I think Image Designers are asking to be able to modify the looks of the cybernetics to replace stat migration.

I kind of like them because they aren't nice looking...but I do have what I call a "gritty fetish". I'd like to have them look that way in-game as a reminder that it's an unkind universe out there.

Maybe they're made to look "unattractive" on purpose in the mind that if they looked cool *and* gave bonuses then who wouldn't have one/some?

Though, if I did mess up and get one from a tough break, I think that I would have some fun RP'ing it out for awhile.

If Disney teaches us anything, it is that beautiful people are good and ugly people are evil. As such, cybernetics would be pretty cool on a villain.

In this case I jump on Keer's back and holler "Whoooo, gritty and ugly all the way!" Now back in the real world I simply say, "Indeed sir I wholeheartedly agree."

If these things we're streamlined and slick you'd see everyone and their mother wearing a cyber limb until the whole galaxy looked like Mad Max minus the half-naked men (unless you go to one of Zannon's parties). Make 'em a little crude, a little rough looking and you got a much better formula. All of a sudden people have to decide between looks and grit.

Personally I would like some sort of imperfection like this. I'd prefer it be some sort of freakish cyber eye twice as big as a normal one but beggers can't be choosers.

We definately need different sets of these things.

What would really be cool is a damn tank tread thing for lower body Kind of like the Reavers.

Now if we're talking custom I want some Satyr legs. Some big horse legs and hooves to stomp a mudhole in some Black Sun punks would bring a smile to my face greater than the day Zannon spelled "Scum and Villiany Night" with a very, very amusing typo.

Tank tread pelvis a la' Novall's Reavers, I have to say I like the more I think about it. Wicked.

And some rockin' Satyr/Centaur legs are one of my fantasy game faves too. Remember the Micronauts? Baron Karza's Body Banks?

But...yeah, steering back on the thread rails... I concur about perhaps different classes of cybernetics. The more upscale and vanity friendly add ons requiring a tough quest like Mando armor or something.

/tangent Imagine the stats on Dengar in-game....

Somthing I would like is where you can have the forearm down like how luke and vader have. The whole arm seems lesss likley to happen to someone. I mean you would have to be hit from whare the sholder ends and the arm begins.
