Is Xfire worth it?

I picked it up, haven't updated since I installed about two weeks ago really. But, is it worth having? And is what I've heard correct; It allows me to pool my friends lists across my different messengers like yahoo and msn?

:-?

I never heard of cross system messaging, but here's a couple reasons I like it:

1) It works in-game, not alt-tabbing to chat.

2) I can see who is in what game and nag them to play SWG.

3) I get to see how much of my life wasted away in game for the week. :)

I use it. I find it very useful for finding my friends who are using it, regardless of what game they are in.

I wish more of my friends used it. Would be a great way to know where they are playing on a particular night. :D

Yes, I am one of the people Jabe nags to play SWG.

I don't have XFire, but...

Sundays & Mondays:

/target Ekade

/NagShot4

Wed - Saturday:

/target Everyone

/CaffeineHit3 to stay up during my hours

I was one of the first people on this forum to use it and I have proudly worn my banner of 388 hours. Even if Iago cheats by going afk all night and boosting his hours to 1000. =P

I love it because not only can I get demos and patches I can also see friends and chat to them when not in game.

Wait a sec.. You played like 110 hours one week and when we asked you if you were sane you said you left it idle at the logon screen for a few days straight. So now it counts?

And as for Ekade: I use xFire to nag Jaminos, mostly....

Looks like I'll be updating Xfire then. Though, I'm doubting I get 'nagged' too much. I'm mostly on SWG to begin with. But, at least there'll be one more person to nag I guess.

jalen2000 for those that want to add me. I'm trying to learn to turn the thing on when I log into a game right now.
