WARNING!!! Strong Language and Lots of Spoilers...
http://viewaskew.com/news/sith/
Bottom line for those of you on media blackout...
"Revenge of the Sith" is, quite simply, fucking awesome. This is the "Star Wars" prequel the haters have been bitching for since "Menace" came out, and if they don't cop to that when they finally see it, they're lying.

Making a movie with equipment he bought on a credit card that launched a film career that has netted him MILLIONS of dollars isn't something?
Damn, you must have a freaking incredible life if that's not good enough for ya.

Still don't know who Kevin Smith is, huh?
He's not a critic...he's a writer/director.

Sorry I do not pay too much attention to media, never have. I live in a bubble when it comes to those things. Unless it affects me then I do not care. At any rate unless it has anything to do with how I live or how the boys are doin over in Tatooine AKA Iraq then I kinda only know the more simple things in life.

I heard our troops aren't doing so well against the Tusken Warlords...maybe they need to bring in more jawas or something?

Well, I just have to say this.
If you don't understand these things or who these people are then you shouldn't comment in the first place. You threw an insult at a guy that you obviously didn't know anything about and that doesn't speak well for you.
I'm trying to be nice here. Be a little more careful next time. If this was any other forum you would of been flamed so hard they'd put you in a burn ward for 6 months.

Well, in reading his assessment, if not being a drooling fan of Eps 1 & 2 means you're a "hater" who was "bitching", then I guess I'll "cop to" recognizing that a fanboy d!ck-rider would make a close-minded judgement like that.
Eps 1 & 2 had substantial issues that left alot of "true Star Wars fans" across the spectrum cold. I sat in the theatre in '77 too, read the same fanzines, blah, blah, blah...
If Episode Three does deliver then it delivers on it's own merit, hopefully pleasing many. Attaching any chastising to it regarding Eps 1 & 2 doesn't validate the shortcomings of those movies.
Even if it rocks harder than Empire Strikes Back and twice as hard on Sunday, then it just adds a new link in the chain of quality that would be: Eps 3, 4, 5.
1, 2, & 6 are the bookends that you put on the shelf to guard against wear and tear on your better editions.
At least until the next revision...
