What do you like after CURB?

I was re-doing my vendors, and i retrieved my bile soaked rancor teeth to resell...and now they actually look like teeth, instead of resource container

so I dropped one to see it, and it WAS HUGE!!

so now I'm keeping them for decor!

I haven't gone out with a group yet to hunt to see how overwhelming it is, but I do like the medical particle effects. Some of them are huge though...I'll probably turn them down--but I like that there's a little bit of differentiation between like, poison innoculation, health buffing...etc. Instead of just the one blue blinkie.

I grouped up with a few guildies last night when the server came up. We had a blast, I like the new combat system.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was not getting XP. My combat character is currently level 70 and we were fighting level 50 creatures on Naboo and I was getting 1 xp per kill. There was a level 30 in our group and he was getting the same xp as me. Doesn't seem to make sense. There are a lot of people complaining about not receiving xp at varying levels against various level mobs. That same fambaa used to give me decent xp before CU. I am hoping the xp is just borked right now. Would be pretty messed up if we had to fight stuff that was the same or near same level as us. Especially if you are leveling up a novice profession.

To those that were not on test center, XP gains no longer shows up as a system message on screen, it shows up in the combat spam. Very hard to see now mixed in with that. I hope they move it back.

Have the reinstalled the various animations for the TK attacks. I read something some had posted saying that SOE removed the animations and the attacks just looked like regular kicks and punches, nothing special. That was from somebody on tc at the time. I was wondering if it had been fixed?

As of early this morning, the animations were not there. I think this is as intended. Not sure why. I know there are a lot of upset TKA's because of that.

Post-Respec Keer is:

Level 80 with 2900 Health. Kinda liking that :)

Template is Master Smuggler/Master Pistoleer/TK 4-0-3-1

I'll have to wait until tonight to test out the practicals.

The button icons don't look as bad now with a full toolbar of them. Looking forward to more stuff with more time online than an hour.

Well that sucks, we don't get the right to look different anymore? I haven't had a chance to play yet, but will here in about 30 mintues. I have a feeling the next few weeks are going to be hell.

You are uber my friend. Pistoleer and Smuggler have gotten a lot of love. TKM being the "master of defense" is a nice touch too. Enjoy! :D

well not all the animation are gone for Teras Kasi... if i use pike's spin attack with my hands its the same animation as spin2 was for teras (i prefere "dancing dragonsnake")

I can now blind with my pike!! make peeps bleed with my bare hands :)
my offense is fair somewhere from 150-190, but my defense is killer 279!!! im gonna respec to 4400 tk master brawler/fencer/HS and see if those specials when unarmed look like any old TK moves

stun is killer post revamp and so is dizzy

Ok i got on and did the respec, this is what I got so far

TK 4444 (made the mistake of freeing up a few skills for other options, without realizing that they are making you earn xp for the master skills now)
BH 2332
Novice Medic
Marksmen 0104
Scout 4000

at current I am level 60 and the stats are as follows:
Speed 80
Acuracy 135
Melee 185
Ranged 170

And I still have enough sp to master bh with everything right now.

I also ran some test with the unarmed combat, and there is one unarmed animation that made it. It is for Lunge, and it is still the same animation. Just have to keep looking to see what things come out as.
