How do we figure out what weapons we can use after the CU?

For example, I am a Novice Carbineer and need a carbine...but which do I get and which can I use? I haven't found a list anywhere.

well, now instead of checking them in your skill tree (why they got rid of that I'l NEVER know) you have to examine the actual weapon, and it will tell you what skill is needed to wield it

They got rid of it in the skill tree because with that labelled, nothing is a surprise anymore. You can just look at the tree and figure out what gun you need to buy in advance of your next skill update.

I really hated that when I first started playing the game. It lacked that whole RPG aspect of you find a sword, and wonder if you can use it or not, only to find out you need to wait two levels. Now, you have that excitement back of not only the anticipation of seeing "Hey, I can use this in two more levels! I can't wait!," but also the idea of "what else is out ther? I wonder what the inbetween gun is?" It makes you have to hunt and loot a lot more to find what you can currently use.

In addition, this way, when they come out with new weapons, especially ultra rare ones, it won't show up in your skill tree before anyone finds one and ruin the surprise.

On the subject of weapons I will be on for the next to nights and you can contact either Seret or Cista with any orders for new weapons due to the CU. Beware many Weaponsmiths will be gouging prices due to the new demand for new weapons. Don't get ripped off, come to me for standard prices.

Yeah I'll need some new weapons, but the problem is I don't know which ones I can use anymore, since I can't tell what I'm certed for....

hmmmmmmm......if only there was a way where I didn't have to search and search to find a gun out in a field to see if I can use it....

Dig it! On both the nod to X'an and the weapons crafting. I have to admit that if it had not been for my experiences in WoW that I might not have fully appreciated that weapon cert perspective. It is a positive "wonder factor".

And Seret, I'll be at the Blackfire Mega-Sales Counter like the Terminator ordering up some stuff soon. 'Cept I won't shoot anybody and I'll pay for the goods. :lol:

Czerka Dart Carbine and a high cap LLC is all I need till I can find a proton carbine

Can I put in an Order for a T21,and a Dxbr6 disruptor rifle..I have the schem just let me know when to be on.

Heya I have been saving some krayt tissue I was lucky enough to have gotten during Dwilah's last hunt and wanted to see about getting post CU pistols made. I have never had a weapon made before using any special components so I have no idea what else you need. I have 6 tissue total and would like to get a renegade pistol made for Zyre and maybe something else if there are tissues leftover.

Thanks to Krusshyk, I found this very nice Renegade Pistol. That thing kicks major ass!

I've started a few new runs of gun parts but I seem to be having a few issues crafting a few items. For some reason some weapons allow me to use my power handlers while others don't. I expected some bugs after the CU so its no big deal. I'll make whatever I can for anyone that wants it.

Being that the intimidator pistol is kinetic, does it take feeder mechanisms? If so I have some gorax bones that I would like to pop into one.

You are correct and you got it, big daddy danger.

I am now master bh/novice pistoleer. What are my weapon options there also does anyone think there would be a better skill to stack with bh than pistoleer cause im up in the air right now.
