what makes a weapon good now? how fast can your new best weapon punch out the damage?

I have a few lances at 500dps
my VK is not that strong, and the action cost is high so i use bare hands
i have a carbine with a max or 1041, base dps is 300's
i have a laser rifle with 1059max, dps is somewhere around 490

i wanna know how these match to yours...

i think so. i heard about a 900+ dps NSEL!!

what i like about weapons now is that min damage and speed factor in huge, but your skill is still a big part of the damage you can deal

Any ideas what the strongest/best lance is? I just got a vibro lance that does 483 (my modified dps) however I am not master pike yet. I am hoping to be master by the end of tomorrow.

I really could use help with finding lances or any advice on what kinds are good to get. Vibro knucks are broke and I am not sure how soon the devs will even look at them - so Jabe is all pike right now.

My three main pistols are 510, 510, and 520 dps. Everything else is in the 480-90 range. I have yet to get a post CU carbine...guess I should.

DPS is a factor on the small faster weapons carbine and such, but on the larger weapons like my 1081 max t21...Snipershot is all I need. I recorded a record high hit of around 1300 on a knight in theed last night.

Yeha but when you examine the weapons what does it say you modified DPS is?

The DPS on my weapons is aounrd 175.

These were above average weapons pre-CU.

DPS goes up with combat level, think about your template and how you might get some points in second elite melee profession to compliment swords. It should go way up.

DPS is based partially on your ability to use the weapon, but it sound slike you need a better weapon anyway.

If you group with someone who is level 80 (aka "uber"), every member of the group becomes level 80 (except for some damage mitigation) and can hunt level 80 to your heart's content. Does that make you feel better?

Also I have found out that XP is not divided, if you get hits in you get 4k XP just like everyone else if you kill a 4k creature. Also money is mirrored, Keer and I both got 8192 credits for an 8192 credit mission. This is how combatants will make enough money to live (thank you devs!).

That is excellent news, anyone want to group hunt tonight to grind some XP? I'm not sure what I'll respec to tonight but it will be MBH with some other either Carbine, Pistol or Rifle skills. Anyone on at 7pm CST?

I will be around in some fashion tonight. My next respec window occurs at 8pm, so I will be re-organizing around then but getting back in the grind afterward.
