Hey guys just wanted to let you know I got bored the other day and went to dathomir. I left from the north outpost and started to head towards the NS battle POI and was stoped and surrounded by "BETA survilance droids" they littered the place, also was killed by a turret i attacked Opps.

I encountered those last night as well with Iago. This base was in another location than the one Kirt mentions (I have the WP somewhere). These droids didn't surround us or stop us but we unfortunately tried to get closer to a few more of them. Doing that put us in range of the "Small Block Turrets".

Iago saw the base first and approached it before realizing it was shooting. I was farther away and got hit, but didn't take damage for some reason. According to the Combat Window I took 7 shots for 2100 points, but my health bar never dropped.

Later, at the same base that Kirt mentions, I did take turret hits and the damage, but still escaped.

I guess that Dathomir is getting more and more dangerous.

Kirt, you say that those droids stopped you? How? What did they look like? Was it like a contraband scan?

The droids we encountered were "Lamda Surveillance Droids" that looked like MSE's. Apparently they have different levels. If Lambdas do nothing and Betas stop you then we better be on the lookout for Alphas.

Me and novall went to them again, we destroyed all the turrets but when I saw stoped I dont mean by the droids, When we got too close we were warped back and got a system msg saying "You are stoped by somesort of force field".

Thats one of the sith bases for the Melee accuracy unlock for the village. They're not worth attacking unless you are running the quest, you might bork it up for some poor sap trying to complete it.

I have made three different "campaigns" to complete that quest since it came out in pub 10 and have had no success. I am hoping with the CU out I might get a fair stab at it soon.
