Each correspondent recently got to ask three questions to the devs regarding each profession. I have followed this from the Teras Kasi point of view and so my link goes to the Teras Kasi profession forum, but our correspondent added questions that are useful to everyone in regards to whats coming down the line.

Oye...I'm sorry. If it makes you feel any better, I haven't been doing anything in game without an inspiration buff since the CU came out....and I've been tipping the non-AFK dancers about 50k a pop.

Read it again in case you missed it the first time..
Many dancers are feeling rather without hope right now due to the enormous impact of the CU on the entertainer professions and what they perceive as a lack of interest in these professions by developers. As I have traveled to different servers this past week I have been having to do a lot of damage control against rumors that entertainers are being removed from the game or have become so decimated that the professions will no longer receive developer attention.
To which the reply was:
As soon as we can, we will definitely share this info with you to get your input.
I am sad, and I am scared.
Sorry to be a downer.. I've never been good at keeping my feelings bottled up. If the mods feel this is overly negative, go ahead and delete it.

That is very sweet of you. I loved getting tips back when they were commonly given.
For me, a tip was a sign of appreciation. The amount did not matter.. just that the idea that someone enjoyed what I was doing enough to stop and say, "Here is a few credits, thank you for your time and effort."

Anoewyn reply to - Buffbots Posting...Why, and who cares? wrote:**laughs**
Aye, I actually know someone who is a buffhouse owner - and they were complaining about how now they don't have a shop front in order to sell their "product". I told him to take up BE, grab himself some tissues and to sod off in so many words. I've even had a spamming buffbot (who was ATK at the time, purely out of their indignation of the CU rather than a desire to play their character) approach me and ask if I would use my ATK connections to rally a post CU protest regarding inspriation buffs and skilltapes. Pfffft - you guys do not want to know the mouthful that individual copped. Honestly, buffbots and buffhouse owners get absolutely zilch in sympathy from me, and I'm with Kyree.
Don't let the door hit you in the @$$ on the way out.
I revived my old master TK and master CH and played a bit on lowca. I walked into Eisley Cantina and it was empty. I went to Coronet and there were just a few dancers. Somewere AFK but the cantina was mostly empty. I logged a little depressed. Thinking "The Entertainer Profession is dead".
But if I look at my playstyle, how much did taking away the mind buff really affect me? Not one bit. When I dance now, I have the exact same goal pre CU. The buff bots are leaving however.
They may have nerfed entertainers but it looks like they killed the Buff Bots. ATK Entertainers are scarce now but we would have completly died if they didn't remove the entertainer mind buffs in the CU. The buff bots would have flourished.
Now, as I write this post, a new thought hit me. "The trash has been removed from most of the cantinas and the slate wiped clean". Sure there are a few lingering buff bots trying to cling to what is left of a system that has changed and no longer needs them. Dinosaurs.
Tomarrow. I'm going to log on as Isleh and dance in Mos Eisley and greet the veterens and newbies with a smile. If a buffbot is there I'm going to point and laugh and enjoy myself. If they aren't, I'll enjoy myself even more.

'Kadey, you're not the only one standing strong as an entertainer. We're here with you, and aren't goin' anywhere. I see more combatants quitting than entertainers and crafters. Our population won't shrink, we'll have a bigger chunk, and a bigger voice (I hope)...and this will all be silly to us, when we're the most desired professions, and I'm not just talkin' about people lookin' to stare at sexy purple lekku wigglin'...and stylin' blue and red frills flyin'. ;)

Eh, I still got my novice ent. Droped ent healing 1 though. On another note, I picked up novice ent on another character on intrepid, and did some dancing with him. seems you now get the ent healing xp just for dancing, faster than you even get dancing xp, even without an audiance.
On another note, could someone post a link to the SL equivilent of that? Unless I'm clicking on a link, I can't get any post at the SOE site to show for some reason.

What cantinas do you guys go to?
It's would make me feel a little better knowing I could be somewhat useful to my friends.
Seeing you guys for the 60 seconds (or whatever) it takes to give the buff would give me a little something to look forward to.

I usually hit Mos Eisley or Coronet. It really depends on my character, but if I see someone on that I know is a dancer, I've been known to ask them where they're at and then show up there.
We've also been doing a lot of missions from Noct, so our cantina might be a decent hang out too.

Mos Eisely or Coronet are the two big cantinas these days. Coro is fading though, without the doc lines it is quickly becoming "just another city" and has been surprisingly quiet. I hope that other Corellian cities start seeing some action as a result.

That would be nice.
The trick is getting that "critical mass" to come together at the same time.
If I show up to dance and nobody is there, I am less likely to stick around. If someone shows up to see a dancer and there are none there, they are less likely to stick around.
All you can do is try and hope things click.
