I did that opening a can of peaches for my wife, who was making fruit salad. If any of you who were on when my SOS went out recall, I had stepped AFK to help her for just a second.

Owwww. I hope that heals soon. How do you hit the spacebar while you're typing, among the many other activitites that require thumbage?

I use my left thumb for that while my other sticks up in the air all useless like... the hard thing is counting money at work without my thumb...

for that I have to use my index and middle finger, for which I have developed a good technique.

All are lethally sharp. My recycling bin got me this week as a matter of fact. That one was not expected, and thus new to the list.

Looking at that picture made my ass feel like it was closing up on itself. Does that happen to anyone else when they see something like that?

I've seen my wife's abdomen cut open, fatty and muscle layers fully exposed, and so much blood combined with miconium that it looked black in there, and that pic STILL gives ME the heeby jeebies.

I'm with Ekade, I've seen far too much blood in my life to even be remotley phased by a cut thumb...

I wish I had pictures, but when My brother and I were younger, like 10 and 11.... You know the Steel rails they put on the side of roads that have steep embankments beside them? well we were walking on top of one, he fell off right, except instead of just falling off he fell like straight down, his leg got ripped open on a piece of steel during the fall, you could see his hamstring, and fat all around the gash, it was nasty, I've more of those stories... mostly him too, he was bit of tard, hell he still is

Well that about does it for me. My butthole has imploded on itself and I won't be able to poop for weeks. Thanks guys...really.

Alright so my body is a tank and resistent to 90% of sharp objects and I have never broken a bone in my body. I am a big guy, Not fat just bulky in myslef. I can not remember ever needing stiches in my life. I guess it is because of my thick hide and even thicker skull.

I cut my index finger open while whittling a piece of wood. I cut myself with one of the finest knives I have ever owned. It was A Gerber. I gave that knife to a guy whom I had befrended in Mexico. I still miss having it, but I know it's got a good home.

One time I dropped a steak knife and it stuck straight up outta my big toe...right where the nail goes under the skin on the side...it didn't hurt as much as you would think.

I also cut my finger on an electric hedge trimmer AND cut the tendon in my left index finger trying to catch a glass jug when it broke...

I can't bend my left index finger at the joint closest to my finger nail. It kinda sucks.

This one time at band camp... oh wait this is not a story of pain, sorry.
