10,000 Times Faster Internet

Just saw a story of Fox New's Fox Report about this tech company, Internet 2, created an internet that is up to 10k faster than todays internet. One of the things they say it can do is down load a full lenght movie that would normally take beween hour to a full day in seconds. I have one big question though...where do I sign up?

Uhh it's a college research network... the same thing the original internet backbone was based off of... Internet2 is going to stay a college network but the current internet will start adapting to the new technology... don't expect it anytime soon, but it will be here eventually.

I believe what you're referring to is commonly known as the Television. It's even free in some places, so no need to sign up.

I can watch movies in REAL TIME on the thing.

I was just using the example they gave but imagin how fast dowmloads for galaxies or any other online game would be. Also think about a online game with no lag.
