Just for fun, if you absolutely had to change your name to something else what would you choose?

There are a few celebrities and fictional characters whose names I've always admired. I'll proceed with the ripping ...now:

- The Edge: the U2 bandmemeber I think has one of the coolest names on the planet. I just dig that for some reason. Let 'em be smart asses and call me "The" for a first name. It would would still balance out all the cool times when I got to say "I'm The Edge. What's up?" :lol:

- Francisco Scaramanga: "The Man With the Golden Gun" of James Bond fame. The author made the name to sound cool as hell and it worked.

- Eddie Tuscora: if anyone's familiar with the "porno name" formula (taking your middle name as your first and the street your familiy lived on when you were born as your last name). I gave a few fake names as a joke once...don't ask.

Can't think of anything else. How 'bout y'all?

I joke that when/if I ever get married, I'm going to convince my husband-to-be that we should both change our last names to something random and fun instead of me just taking his or doing some weird hyphenated thing. Like, Spoon. Hi, we're Mr. and Mrs. Spoon.

I used to hate my name when I was little, but I like it well now and I can't imagine wanting to be called something else. But I think if I had to change it, I'd pick something with an a or an i in it...or maybe both at once. Like Maria.

Or, another option I'd consider--one of those fun, random "noun" names like Savannah. Savannah Spoon.

But my A#1 choice of name changes would simply be...

Mr. Imanasshole

You might say "Why would he want a name so self-defeating?"

For one simple reason...

... So that everytime a damn telemarketer calls my house he has to say "Hello, may I speak with Mr. or Mrs..... Imanasshole?" and I can reply "YES YOU ARE!" and hang up with a big smile on my face.

If I could keep my Last name I would make my first name "King"

If I had to change Both I would be (something) The Great.

If it were not for the kid I would name myself Jaminos because after years of teamspeak/ventrillo plus friends IRL I am use to being called it and will respond IRL if you called me it. As corney as it sounds it is something I have always loved the name.

In game however I would change it to Jaminos Darkhunter because that is the name of Jaminos in my books. If I had to change the first name it would be somthing simple like James or Tom.

Tits McGee or Chesty Larue would be right up there...but naturally, I would have to be a chick for those...or a really tubby guy with sweet man boobs (I am half way there already).

But then again, I already HAVE a girl's name, so what's the difference?

LMAO. Good laughing to round out my day, folks! So far I have to say that Big McLargehuge has me cracking up the most right now.

And appreciations for the "Keer Tregga" name props. Once it popped inside my head (decades ago... :oops: ) there was never another doubt what to name my SWG character.

Skorixor, I caught the reference non-Google, etc. The "Boogie Nights" guys are on my all time list as well. "Nobody messes with Brock & Chess!" :lol:

If I were to change my name from Oeree Oebate, I would change it to Victor Troska.

(Any Operation Flashpoint fans would know this name...)
