Dantooine Creature Taming Issue

I was on Dantooine last night killing graul maulers. On two different lairs I attempted to tame the babies that spawned. I went through the usual routine (mask scent, attempt to tame), and the usual taming speal started, "Don't bite me, Don't be scared, yadda yadda yadda."

However, I failed all my taming attempts. That was even while wearing a shirt that gave me a +14 to taming viscious critters.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have not tried taming anything very tough since the CU but if I run into that problem I will post a note of it for you.
