Some background on V for Vendetta's creator/writer Alan Moore III:

- First and only comics author to win the prestigious Hugo Award (1988) for "Watchmen". The day after he was awarded it, they changed the rules so that comics can no longer be considered.

- Has his own publishing company, America's Best Comics (ABC). He publishes: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Promethea, Tom Strong, Tomorrow Stories and Top 10 among others.

- Won the British Eagle Awards for Best Comics Writer in 1982 and 1983 for his work on Marvelman (known in the United States as Miracleman) and V For Vendetta.

- Is known for writing definitive stories for Superman, Batman, and other popular comic superheroes. Also widely considered to be the best current comic writer with "Watchmen" being his seminal work.

- Lived in an 'experimental' relationship for several years with his wife Phyllis and their girlfriend Debbie. When his relationship ended, Phyllis and Debbie moved away with the children. He now has a long term relationship with comic-book artist Melinda Gebbie. (Mah, man! Nice "experiment"! What a way to sacrifice yourself for science! :lol: )

Hmmmm, I had no idea V for Vendetta was being made into a movie. Lets just hope this baby of renowned comic book writer Alan Moore goes in the right direciton. Lerts check the list...

From Hell - Not bad, not bad at all. Enjoyed this quite a bit.

League of Extrodinary Gentlemen - Pure, unadulterated crap. Someone should of gotten slapped for that film.

After this the film version of The Watchmen is in the works, probably Moore's best work. I have high expectations already set for it.

As for Ms. Portman.... yeah I'd still take Keer's sloppy seconds.

What? Are you crazy? Even if she weren't the most attractive woman, she has decent morals especially considering her success, she's very picky about her movies and usually only does movies where she plays a "good" type character. She gives little girls a decent Hollywood role model.

Now the fact that she is stunningly beautiful is a bonus. It will be a sad day when she finally settles down.

Yeah, she's a pretty girl and all. I still just have never found her to be that attractive to what I like. I have rarely ever found any movie-star to be that attractive because through all that glamor and beauty is usually someone you wouldn't pee on to put the flames on if they were on fire. Just becaues you read articles on em and watch a VH1 special that tells you how "good" someone is means in no way that their that good in real life.

So you plug her...and for awhile your friends say "Wow, he plugged Natalie Portman!". However that wouldn't be something I would like to think of as the "high point" in my life.

So she's a movie star, and in my life I've classified those people as being obtuse and materialistic because historically 90% of them (or more) have been. Unless she shows me anything different (which she has yet to do) then she will more then likley remain in that catagory...hence making her unattractive to me.
