How was crowd reaction in the beginning of the film compared to the end of it?

In the time leading up to the start of the film as I sat in the theatre, the fans were slavering, hooting, wild dogs.

Upon the ending, there was a smattering of applause.

I've never been the type to base my tastes on those of others, but I was among the silent ones at the end.

How was the reaction at your viewing?

First time s few claps... and some hell yeahs and stuff...

Second time alot of applause and one guy saying it was the best of all six...

at midnight showing, lots of yelling and hollering and cursing and stuff...lots of laughter, very responsive crowd. Second viewing much more sedate.

we went to the midnight showing last night and it was a bunch of rabid fans and they were loud as hell...just got back from seeing it again and it was more low key.
