Guide to Space Mining

If this is accurate, it's a great guide. It has been acknowledged by the Shipwright Correspondent and there are at least two pages of discussion.

One thing to add to space mining, at first, it goes mind numingly slow because the laser you get right off the bat as the mission reward is REALLY ineffective.

it doesn't go much faster even with elite mining laser

it still takes me 1.3 to 1.5 hours to half fill my small cargo hold(max 5000)


the guide also doesn't tell you for every big chunk you knock off there's a chance you'll be jumped by 4 bandits (they poof in)...and are either tier 1's in easy fields, to tier 3's in harder to tier 5's in kessel

Yes, the Guide does tell you this. Check again under Step Two...
