Seems like the Burbo got caught with his pants down. Low and behold a few people, including myself, came around the corner of the shuttle port to see him attackable in Coronet... I think he started something with someone in my group which gave us the attack opportunity - he didn't appear to be overt...

Well, looks like somebody finally tipped the Burbo. Over.

Did anyone run in fear of his new-plyaer-issue survival knife?

I was in Coro last night and saw him beggin. He was also spamming that anyone can duel him and he'll auto-accept. I debated for awhile, wondering why he wasn't dead from somebody else already and decided to go for it. To duel him you first invited to group. Once in group he gave a group message to challnge him and he'll accept, so I did so. And then he accepted... And then he /endduels without any delay. So he wasn't lying... but of course his next group chat message was 'too slow?' tip me 20K. Then he disbanded. I tried it one more time spamming my F1 key to see if I could get a hit in on him but no luck. I never even got fight music.

Must kill The Burbo.

So why does everybody hate this guy? Clue in a latecomer to Gorath as to why there's Burbo hate messages everywhere.

It's not the degree of hate we all have for Cappin/Cappen Poncho...

He's just a guy who has managed to annoy 90% of the server. All you'll see him do is walk up to people or AFK spam at starports begging for people to tip him. Once you've seen "TIP THE BURBO" that many times you'd want to kill him too.

I'm a closet Burbo fan.

You have to admit, it is very clever.

Burbo is a fat, bald little toon.

In the early days he would have a sad mood on, and have a macro running asking for money. It usually said something very sappy. I've seen him in Theed, but he is usually found in Coronet Starport.

I am just waiting for the secret creator of Burbo to relveal that he has like a billion credits or something.. someday.

Thats probably all too true.

But I show no pity for the Burbo because when it comes down to it this player created and plays his character as a joke. Sometimes that joke is not funny and thus follows the swift hammer of retribution. Well, could be the lightning cannon of justice or the vibro knuckler of pennance. You pick.

We all assumed he was a mule character designed to make money for a Jedi alt account.

I always believed that Burbo wasn't somone from Gorath, but another server who made Burbo his AFK toon. Much like Ekade, I think Burbo was a genious move. I mean, there is NO ONE on Gorath more known than Burbo. I know that I've /tipped him money on more than one occassion (spammed macro to bank tip 1 credit), and he's probably got a ton of cash.

And yes, I don't hate Burbo nearly as much as I hate Cappin/Cappen. The only solice I have is that he's 17, maybe a late bloomer, and possibly won't be around much longer. Then again, he does have a jedi...
