SWG Tales

Ok, I've seen my fair share of login issues and server outages in the past but I've never had this before. When I log into the game I have some missing info at the character selection screen.

All I see is the names of my characters on this server and the others but Galaxy, Planet and Server are blank. I can go nowhere from this point. I tried to relog and full scan but no dice.

Anyone having this issue? Are the servers and/or login servers down?

Already posted the info in the Kreetles Meeting thread, Seret. Some sort of maintaince problem due to the publish and the servers are due back up around 6pm pst assuming they have the problem fixed by then.

It's like CU all over again...save the mass angst and parties. But yeah, having the same issue as well. All servers up my butt...

OK...I gotta give this a big, WHAT THE FUCK!!! I come home on time tonight and try to play and the damn game is Kerplunk-Kerplooie!!!

No fucking doubt! I went to Best Buy...got the expansion...installed it and now i cant get online...

ok...mine is showing just my characters name as well, no Galaxy-Planet-etc...

Damn login servers are FUBAR!

this always happens when the server is down...it can't access your info, so it shows a default

I'm in the same boat as you Zannon, only cubed. Last night I had no internet connection. The night before I was up all night with a sick child. Tonight I get home and have the whole house to myself, meaning I can play without any disturbance and I get squat. I am now convinced a divine entity does not wish for me to play SWG, just when I am once again excited to play.

Curse you divine anti-SWG entity! I shall name thee George. Damn you George and your cruel ways!

Does your entity have a last name? Perhaps Lucas even?

I cant believe the servers are still down! This is so upsetting

Thats 2 deadlines gone now and still no life in the servers. They must have really screwed things up. I get that same weird login when I try to access the game too. Really strange. Hope that dosent mean they lost all our character data

I appreciate what those guys do (I used to work as a dev) but this is a big balls up. I hope people stick with it and dont give up on SWG, but with games like WoW around getting more popular it's not helping SWG's rep.

Off to work now. Fingers crossed I can play tonight.
