Funny stuff the last 2 days

my char got the inner glow on monday, and I have been waiting and waiting fot the old man etc...

so 2 days ago, me and kirt are on kash, doing these missions where you transport to a specific place not normally accessable to do these timed hunt missions (kill so many specific creatures in 20 minutes)

so we're on the last mission and out of the blue, the old man steps into this big firefight wanting to talk to me...there are huge corpses everywhere and I couldn't even see him (no time to loot the beasts, just kill kill kill)

so I quick talk to him when I can break the fight (it's hard when you're getin swarmed)

ok cool, then nothing for days...so NOW me and kirt are trying out the new rides (he has 2 already) and we're riding passenegers in them etc, just hanging out....then BAM 2 sith pop out next to us (lvl 75's) shooting away...we're going "HUH??!?" and then "oh yeah" then a hail of blaster fire is returned

so we went to find the sith camp nearby, cruising in his new ride, and we go to start shooting and I can't find kirt...he used his cover shot and actually went invisible...I could see him shootin but no kirt...i was lmao


those old men and sith just pick the weirdest times to spawn

Yea, it was alot of fun, When the old man came I was all yelling to skor to talk to him as i did an area attack and got the spawn.

As for the sith, we were just standing around talking when he got attacked and I quickly helped cause i love getting jumped liked that. As for the disappearing act..MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA PHEAR MY COVER SPECIAL WORKING MUAHAHAAHHAHAA

Cover actually makes you invisible to PC's? I thought it was just supposed to take you off the radar.

If that is true.. expect to see everyone and their mother scrambling to get Cover so they can turn invisible. You heard it here first folks! Cover is the first post-CU FOTM!

But seriously, people love the ability to be invisible in MMO's. The "stealth" classes are always the most popular.

I don't know what skill set is required but I have seen Jedi initiate fights invisible, evidently they can move around invisible as well.

So far only riflemen, and Jedi get a a cover, riflemen have to be prone and can only crawl, jedi get CLOAK and can burst,force run and everything non combat related and stay cloaked.

And as a rifleman you break cover when you do any attack other than conceal shot...at least that is my experience.

Yeah although I'm not sure about Cover but with Cloak Jedi can still be targeted by Turrets and AOE's still hit them. They used to be targetable if you did /targetXXXXX but I'm not sure if that still works.
