Well its time to upgrade. With more and more games coming out like Doom 3 with such requirements as 1.7 GHz processors I think its time to step up.

So who would like to recommend a site that has good deals on Motherboard/CPU combos? Just to let you know my preferrence I really stick by Asus motherboards and I'm a hardcore AMD fan. If anyone can share some insight on where to look I'd appreciate it.

Thanks ahead of time!

Instead of ASUS, you might want to try Abit. I've heard nothing but amazing things about them, like how they have their own settings for overclocking things like your bus chip, RAM, the Vid Card, the Main Proc, etc., so that you can choose to overclock everything seperately.

I guess they're just as reliable as an ASUS, to boot. I'm going to use one as my next mobo.

Well I am gonna plug NewEgg.com, because I bought my current system from them about a year ago and was very happy with them. I am about to upgrade my CPU, Mobo, Ram and Case with the following:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe ... ory=BROWSE

MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe ... ory=BROWSE

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe ... ory=BROWSE

Case: http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDe ... ory=BROWSE

EDIT:

You may also want to upgrade your videocard...I am thinking of switching back to Nvidia for this next round because of the features that the 6800 has. The ATI X800 cards are not supporting Pixel Shader 3 and that is one of the reasons...I think I am going to go with the GeForce 6800 GT, because it is not as power hingry as the Ultra and they have been successfully overclocked to Ultra specs, plus they are about $100 cheaper.

So... am I the only one still using Pricewatch? I've never had a problem with them so far.

Now if I only had that stuff to help we get all these wonderful things. What's it called again? Oh yeah, MONEY!

Ok, thats it. Anyone who wants a fully detailed drawing of their character, color and all, can get just that for a negotiable price. I won't break your bank people but its time to start making a few dimes with what I can do.

Of course if you think thats foolish and would never pay me for original art I'll understand. I'm not trying to blow my own horn, I'm just trying to make a few bucks off it at the pawn shop. :D

I think you should devote yourself to creating many wonderful pictures of Ekade.

Just my unbiased opinion. :D

I like http://www.pricegrabber.com myself. From there I put together my current pc which at the time cost about $ 2500 from Dell, Alienware, or any other big company, but put it together myself for about $900 or so. So you can usually find nice prices on stuff there. If you are ordering a couple things and don't mind ordering from different companies you can get a good deal too.
