Stupidity, pure and simple

Well, folks. I just had a brush with greatness(or a mindless idiot--you decide) in regards to tech support with my ISP. I'm having an issue with my Outlook and I can't retrieve messages from my HTTP Hotmail account nor my POP3 email account. After checking my incoming and outgoing mail servers and checking my login and password, I reluctantly decided to contact my ISP's 24/7 tech support. Where and the hell do they hire these retards from? Granted, I'm a bit up there in my schooling but this crap is basic troubleshooting after I've eliminated everything on my end(even tested my account connection to their system)Here's what the monkeys said:
Thank you for the information provided. You need to know that we can only offer support for Microsoft Outlook Express. We are not authorized to provide support information for Microsoft Outlook or any other e-mail client. However, I can provide you with a link with information how to verify your e-mail settings using Microsoft Outlook.

Please contact http://support.microsoft.com for further assistance. They should be able to help.

Sure they will. Thanks for reading from the script. Have a good one.
Now someone please tell me how much different retrieving mail from a POP3 email account is from Microsoft Outlook Express or from Microsoft Outlook? It's not different at all. It's the SAME FREAKIN THING. As Yoda would say:
"No different, only different in your mind"
