Hooray, another lawsuit from parents whose child did something stupid.

Yay for litigation!

Yeah, it was "never about the money", that's why the settled out of court for $2 million instead of taking it to trial and didn't seek criminal neglegence charges against the teacher and the school. I doubt they're gonna be taking that $2 million and putting it into the school system to make sure there's enough supervison in the classrooms or to create an awareness program for new teachers so that they know what kind of games are potentially dangerous.

Grrrrr...I hate the Illinois legal system and lawyers.

Im the one who introduced that game at my school!
Except we didn't have marshmallows so we used the mini chocolate donuts. It then just became a game of "how many can he fit."

My senior year some people bought a couple packs and I gave it a try, you know, a last hurah... I can fit 12 mini donuts in my mouth. You know, the ones that come in packs of 6.

No one ever died because of it that I know of... I can also shred and eat an apple with my teeth in seconds.
