Good News...
For me anyway. I should be moving to a new location in under a week now. Possibly have the new place tomorrow with my roomie. *crosses fingers* Get ready for an 'all new' Batty once my butt picks up Cable! Yay!
So, hola, to anyone living near the St. Louis or Springfield, IL. area.

If I ever head to Chicago I will give you folks a heads up. Too bad I can't talk any of my amigos into playing this game, my brother who had the game (Rillex) won't come back, as much as I try...

Well, actually, I do have some friends moving up that way too for one of the film schools. I may be privy to eventually hit up Chicago. Only thing though... I'm a guy that like to be warm most of the time... so the one big turn off for me would be Chicago winters. 0- O But... the vendor slaw dogs are to die for! And I couldn't 'not' have something to go do between work and all the stuff in Chi-town... aside from still being addicted to this. We'll see though. I told my roomie this was a Temporary thing to see how I liked it and to get me outta 'here'. Trust me, the Batty home life is not good at the moment. But, like Mrs. Ross; "I will survive!"

Gloria Gaynor song, that...
If you move to L.A. you could meet Ms. Ross...coming at you drunk in her limo doing 85.

Actually, California 'is' the dream... long term goal. That's 'if' I can ever make anything of screen writting at all. I may eventually have to fold on the film career idea. But I hope I don't. I still have my poetry and I'll never stop writting. Who knows, maybe I'll become a teacher and go overseas or even wind up staying in Illinois the rest of my Life.
What I do know is... DAMN, my bedroom is a cubby hole in the place we got today... but at least it's cheap. And, I may actually drive up to Chicago as time permits and look for a job up there after I'm settled in a bit. I have this thing... as soon as I'm away from home... I like to be on the move.

Pro-tip: We don't put cole-slaw on our hot-dogs up here. At least not from a vendor/dog stand.
Relish, tomato slices, pickel, onion, mustard. Recently, enough of the vendors are 1st generation immigrants and enough tourists have come through town that you can ask for catsup and not get the evil eye/ridicule from the vendor.

Which is bullcrap. Any vendor who puts catsup (or ketchup) on a hot dog needs his license pulled and his ethics questioned intensely.
It's just not meant to be done...its a crime against nature.

Well if you ever make it out here give me a holla born a bread Angelino here. Good luck to the screen writing thing too. I have a few friends in the business most of them being actors but I also know a few writers. It is realativly easy to get your stuff on film buts it's another matter entierly getting a studio to back it.
By the way if I ever make the Chicago Wizard World I'll give you guy a warrning.

Consider me the xXx felon of Chi-town then, my friend. Catsup makes nearly everything better.

I prefer a Bratwurst with real mustard. If I need a hotdog in a hurry I will throw ketchup on it.
