Plea to the Kreetles

As far as I've seen on these forums and on swg's forums, no body has verbally bashed your decision, your event, nothing. You've had many supporters for what your doing. I dont know what everyone is being told but like I said on swg forums......I strongly suggest you encourage your followers to stop slandering the Roba. They can show their support for you by not attending the Roba but the last thing you want is a flame war. That goes the same for me, Alonzo, and TTF. Lets stop making it so personal.

As a rabid supporter of RP and the RP community, I don't think anyone should be saying bad things about an RP event. Events and those who make them happen should be supported as much as possible.

I'll make a posting as such on the Gorath forums shortly.

I am sure there are personal issues involved, there always are. Nevertheless, we need to think of ourselves as part of the same team. Our goal is to have fun here.


Also, Aerulai, the Gorath forums are a flame haven. I think your expectaions are too high for what is said over there.

I don't think asking for a particular group to stop flaming another particular group is too much to ask, especially when the two "leaders" of those "factions" agreed to no flaming.

In all my letters about the changes to roba, there has been nothing but good said about the kreetles...the reverse would be nice, but i don't expect that...but going the opposite direction with it (flaming and insults) is flat out disgraceful

I dont think its to much to ask for them to post saying that the bs isnt necessary. The thread is deteriorating fast, and I'm sure thats not what Zyre intended when he posted it. And the flamers are THEIR friends . If they dont stop flaming when asked then what kind of friends are those?

All I knew was that he wanted to play with more musicians and came and played with us Friday night. The Kreetles are band first and foremost so we are always interested in meeting new master musicians, dancers, and entertains. I personally hope things go well with the Roba as the more roleplay in a game like this the better I have refrained from responding to any of your or Alonzo's sniping posts, be they here or on the Gorath forum but I do want to know what Kreetles you refer to and what they are being charged with?

For once, I'm in total agreement with DD here. Flame Wars mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. They only reinforce everyone's bad attitudes. If you have your reasons for something... communicate it to whom you have the problem with. If you can't resolve it; you can't resolve it. That said, I'll bow out of this one now. Just let it be known that we all have friends on both sides... some of us feel a lot worse in other words. And this doesn't help.
