"This is your captain speaking. We are cruising at 30,000 feet, and we are being diverted to Canada because I accidentally turned on the hijacking signal. If you look out the windows to your left, you will see a fighter jet"

Dammit Skor...
It says "Do not push unless being Hijacked"...but you couldn't leave well enough alone. You had to go and push the button.
Well I hope you learned your lesson.

wasn't me, I don't fly until tomorrow
but you'd be surprised that they go off more than you think
let's just say that there are ways to send this message automatically without you even selecting the option, if you aren't paying attention or are in an actual situation

Landing in Montreal (or any canadian city) will be torture enough for the poor pilot, no need to flame him.

Yes and they have terrible taste in shoe's, so my wife says. And those Quebec drivers let me tell you something, they're gawd awful. When my then Fiancee and I lived in Vermont (45-60 minutes south of Montreal) she had a Quebec 18 wheeler litterally run over her car to make a turn when she had the right of way.
Good hockey though.

All due respect to our Canadian SWGTales members, (not that it should matter, but they *are* here...), I personally have had some outstanding experiences in your nation.
I haven't been to every Canadian city, but of those I have, none of them sucked. Not even close for that matter, for me. Of all the places in the world to find yourself detoured to, there are several that are worse, once again from personal experience, that did genuinely suck.

What the hell is this fictional "hockey" sport you all keep speaking of?

I don't remember where I heard it... but I like this little mp3 file of a Captain speaking to the passengers and he describes the weapons the pilot and co-pilot are packing and how they can pretty much blow your head off if you try anything. This ranks right up there with that!

Resisting urge to bash on Canadian's. Booing kids cause they're American. Always saying A after every thing. The French connection......................
/inhales deeply
/exhales slowly
Much better carry on.
