Yes, Lucas will own your wallet and make you his b***h for many years to come it appears. Although I like the idea of 3-D SW, please don't butcher your original creation any further(as if Hayden in ROTJ wasn't bad enough). Unadulterated SW in 3-D would be fine in my book but don't change it up on us again.

Star Wars 3-D?
On the 3D angle, this is what already has me:
- Death Star Trench Run in 3D
- Echo Base Battle in 3D
- Hoth Asteroid Field Chase in 3D
- Boonta Eve Pod Race in 3D
As far as the live action TV show, it seems that there is still a good amount of contradiction and mystery going on there, but for what it's worth, I really don't have much interest in seeing young Luke Skywalker. Obi-Wan Kenobi, on the other hand, has some interest for me because I'm wondering if he ever snuck back into galactic intrigue during those 20 years. Was there anything that might have drawn him away from his shack to go undercover on some adventure?
I also wouldn't mind seeing a young Han Solo, just for the sake of seeing him learn how to hustle, con, and cheat by puberty. If done well, it could be poignant. Oliver Twist style.
Jabba the Hutt in an anti-hero role could be interesting. Watching him scheme his way to power would be a draw for me.
Also, the politics behind getting the Rebel Alliance off the ground could be a great story. Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, and others in a Scarlet Pimpernel underground might be intriguing. Deftly dodging Imperial intelligence and so forth.
And finally, maybe more than anything, any behind the scenes plotting against Palpatine by the Moffs/military within the Empire itself. In every coup d'etat there's some other greedy bastard or idealogue zealot who wants to snatch the crown before the dust settles. Vader wanted to, but I'd think there were others of the type that sat in the Death Star conference room intoxicated by their new power and scheming to get rid of "the old man" and his cyber-thug.
But, I'm like 0 for one billion when it comes to seeing stuff like this realized so, ehh. Red 5, standing by.....
