I must assume that you mean the New Punisher movie and not the one with the Soviet from Rocky correct? I haven't seen the new one but that first one was crap.

Yes the new one. OMG you havent seen it? Dude! rent it NOW! I have the Dolph Lundgren Punisher also...and yes it was crap. Honestly though, Dolph make a better comic-book adapted Punisher then Tom Jane did.

I refer to Dolph as 'Old Chicken Lips' because of that adaptation. You know, where he's standing on that pool table or whatever it was spraying away with that big old machine gun and his lips are just pursed in a way that makes ya wanna laugh at'em.

However, your right, Dolph made the better Punisher. However the 'new' Punisher had the better story I thought.

Mmmm.. Secret of my Success. Good movie too.

And, note, amongst my crap; There 'were' some Novy approved titles! :D

Ok have to revise my list. Forgot a few movies like Blade and Punisher.

1. Spider Man 2
2. Batman Begins
3. Blade
4. Punisher
5. Spider Man
6. Batman
7. Mystery Men
8. Hellboy

I try to avoid top 10 lists because I find it really hard to rank my favorite films but here's a rough list:

1. Batman Begins
2. Spiderman 2
3. Spiderman
4. X-men
5. X2
6. Blade
7. Hellboy
8. Superman
9. The Punisher
10. The Crow

I have to give honorable mention to Constantine, Ghost World, From Hell, The Crow, Batman, and Daredevil.

Personally I felt Spawn, Supergirl (c'mon they climb a freakin' mountain to get out of the Phantom Zone), and League of Extrodinary Gentlemen were pure crap in my book. Thats just me though.

American Splendor was a great film but I don't know if I'd consider it a "comic book movie" like the rest. Its more about the guy behind the comic (even though the comic was about him) much like Crumb was. Both very, very good films though. Its not a comic adaptation though.

I also haven't seen Sin City but I'm guessing that will make the list.

I have to second Novall's list, I like the spidey movies too though.

I actually thought the new guy looks more like the punisher, at least in my mind. The poster I have on my wall looks just like him (comic poster)
He's holding a smoking M-16 "masterkey" Props to anyone who knows the config of the masterkey without google, or asking Zannon... I myself prefer the m16+m203 config.

Thats because the artist worked from a photo that he took of the guy. I cannot remember the artist name for the life of me but he loves to take pitures of real people in posses he wants to use for his covers and works from those to create a very real but very comic (I would accually use graphic novel) art style feel to his work.
