Anything that as a by product also eliminates a good portion of the bounty hunter d00d population as well is a good thing.

I skimmed through it, it seems like Jedi are getting nerfed in some areas and more powerful in others.

I wouldn't say improved Jabe, more like fixed. Powers especially was for the most part useless and the fixes here will just bring it in line with it's Lightsaber counterpart.

The changes to lightsaber make it a little more viable, however changes like no KD on saber throw are huge in nerfs. It will now be possible to kite Jedi quite effectively.

I don't think this publish will hurt jedi too much. From what I hear, one of their biggest problems is draining their force bar too quickly. Which seems to have been addressed. Half as much force for powers and decreased costs on standard saber attacks. They just gave jedi the ability to go a few more rounds.

Actually, what this gave them was more offence and less defence. A jedi outside of 35m is going to be a very vulnerable jedi, which is how it should be honestly. Theres not going to be any more of this avoid incap, 1500hp heals every 3 secs ect jedi. Now there going to have to rely on using sabers and powers which means that their force/action/mind bars are still going to drop like crazy in a good fight. Avoid incap also acts as a snare effect, keeping them from running off.

Yeah the AI loop was too unbalancing, however increasing the Force Cost by I believe 300 as well as increasing the cool down and adding snare is a bit much. Any two of those would have easily resolved the issue, the third just makes it almost useless now.

The snare takes away the use of using it to escape instead of having to get Force Run from Enhancer. The 1000 Force cost makes it imposible to loop it which was the most needed change but also makes it hard to have enough Force to heal yourself during the 30 second window I believe, especially since by the time you're that low on Health your Force Bar is probably drained.

Where does it say anything about Avoid Incap getting a snare? Has it always been that way?

No it has never been that way. It was in the publish notes about Jedi, using it will now add a snare effect.

Maybe I am blind, but the only thing mentioned about Avoid Incapacitation from the patch notes linked to above says that it is getting an increase in activation cost.
