I love roleplaying and since many years back ive had a few ideas, even tho im taking a break from swg i long to try theese out when im back =)


Idea number 1

The story starts with that an imperial ship boards a rebel ship up in space (which is just story and wont be roleplayed) in the fighting which takes place the rebel ship gets seriously damaged,a explosion occurs and the two ships drifts away from eachother, meanwhile three imperials try to find their way to the escape pods on the rebel vessel since its about to blow up, they find one which is the last aviable, suddenly three rebels show up, and while pointing weapons at eachother (or something) they jump into the pod and fly away, no one dares to starts shooting as the lasers would ricochet on the walls of the pod. The pod lands on tatooine in the dunesea (well use the r2 n c3po pod POI for start location) no one of the 3 imps and 3 rebs are familiarized with tatooine or its dangers and its up to them to cooperate in order to survive

Coolest would be if the imps have faction armor and the rebels too (or if they were the flightsuits) there gotta be a scout in the group, and one doc, then its just improvization, this could be very intresting to see how it develop.

Idea number 2
Is to go to the jabba palace and play some scenario there, we could roleplay within groupchat so others dont see it. The scenario could be that lady valarian is tired of jabbas crime monopoly, and decide to get her best men into the palace dressed as thugs with a enslaved girl with them, they meet with some of jabbas men (valarians n jabba guys are players + a slave girl) somewhere in the palace

Idea number 3
Would be quite cool to play a scene-which-never-happened from episode 1, those intrested go to theed palace, one will dress up and play as queen amidala, some as councelors, others as guards, the trade federation have sent two bounty hunters to kidnap her and persuade her to sign their dirty little papers (or whatever they have lol) could be very exciting to run around the palace guarding the queen or hunt her down

Idea number 4
I havent been on the imperial prison on dathomir but if its not full of mobs or hostiles we could have a rp event there, some rebels are brought in for enteregation, all who play as imperials has either scout, assault or battle faction armor or, imperial officer uniform. It could start with two troopers escorting a rebel to the cell, a officer walks up to the cell door and says some stuff like "so (name x) we got you at last!" etc, then the prisoner is taken away for interegation, and so on, needs some work n needs be thiought thru to give it some contents.

Idea number 5
Two brothers are on the lucky depot cantina in mos eisley, they get too drunk and waste more money than they have on gambling and bets, their sister who is with them gets kidnapped and held hostage until the two brothers can get the money and pay the crooks back, they go away and hire some ppl to help them kill the crooks but it seams like one of theese hired guns are friends with the crooks on the cantina

well theese ideas aint so thought thru, they need contents and more story elements but several of them would be very intresting, best is to improvise after a story-frame so i need yer input on theese, you guys are perhaps most used to cantina parties?! i hope some of you are intrested in more involving exciting stories =)

Would also be fun to roleplay a scenario at the jawa fortress, some who are short could dress in black robes and roleplay as jawas, run around with droids after them, some storm/shock/scout troopers from the empire could be there too and in a slacking way walk back n fourth (maybe on dewback non ch mounts) while some play as farmers or thugs who try to make a deal with the jawas, a price argue starts between a jawa and another guy and so on.

Would be very very very fun to wlak into mos eisley in a big formation of storm/shock/scout troopers (imperials) stay outside the cantina, start asking people around stuff like pretend to look for contraband items, spices and stuff, someone could roleplay drunk or entoxicated, would be fun, just ignore what ppl say and just roleplay as if we were imperial scout/shock/stormtroopers, maybe enter the cantina and start intoregating some NPC hehe

That is very close to the the premise behind the first "Mos Eisley Mayhem" event that took place about 1 year ago.

I wrote a loose script and asked Tramel (at the time, one of the best roleplayers that nobody knew. He was a gem and I wanted to give him a stage) to play the part of the Imperial Colonel. The jist of it was that the Empire was looking for some rebel officers/agents and had tracked them to Mos Eisley. The troopers were to line up all the patrons of the cantina and scan them and check their ID's. Just before the rebel officer(s) were discovered, they would make a break for it and a huge firefight would break out.

The event was open to all. It was one of those magical times where everyone cooperated (mostly) and roleplayers and PvP'ers worked together to make a fantastic event.


It was such a hoot that the following Mayhem event.. The Tusken Attack, was exceedingly well attended.

And the Mayhem event after that.... sucked and the event died. But some good did come from that in the end.

Yes, that is a great idea. There is something special about getting some imperials to harass people. Imperial harassment is one of the best things that can happen to a roleplayer. I'd love to get a regular crew of imperials together to harass civilians and hunt for rebels. The thought of roleplaying an imperial is my biggest temptation in regards to picking up a 2nd account..

I mean, TTF's Imperial Squad was overt and patrolling at the last Scum & Villiany. I kind of love that where ever we moved in the Despot, the few other people trying to pull off their underhanded deals would shift or move to the other side of the room. We weren't on any official patrol, but we always could be called upon to do so.

well when im back cant we put something like this togeather again? we could invite all who want for a enormous roleplaying feast in mos eisley, id love to gear up in my shocktrooper uniform, line up, scan n harass rebels n others lol, i luv roleplaying a imperial solider, not much character to talk of maybe but it sure is fun
