Devs posted that the double XP is just an anniversary present to everyone, they are still waiting on the Lucasfilm sign off on the actual 2 year vet rewards. I'd expect them to be the Friday feature this week.

not to mention the Empire's Day little min-quest. I believe, just like the Christmas "Life Day" mini-quest, this is meant to be a gift that requires just a minimum effort.

I just hope that the 2-year vet rewards are all that we expect them to be

Serriously though it seems the devs have given up on adding any real content besides tring to fix the game.

I haven't done either things yet, but with Patch 19 they did introduce Secrets of the Syren: Part 3, and Imperial Day quests. Personally I think that if we get one quest chapter per patch, that's progress. We're not there yet, but that's okay.

Plus...I mean we just had the hugest addition to content ever, RotW. That expansion is NOTHING but content.

I would applaud Patch 19 as being a healthy balance between new content and fixes. So it seems to me, anyhow.

And to keep this on topic so I don't get bowled over by a giant nutsack, I do have hopes that veteran players who have been playing longer than myself (I couldn't afford it until awhile after it started) do get something cool...but I think maybe the crying out for it and the vague assurances from the devs are proof enough for me that it will come.

ROTW content? fake arms and some quest armor?

They may be giving us crap because they are saving the real gift for later. Like perhaps a free expansion to include Hoth, and a jump in the timeline to post Ep5. That's what they should give us, and make Hoth a PVP only planet, take PVP out of the freakin NPC cities.

They also need an Imperial incentive to gain some balance. In other games they did this by giving bonuses to XP, or even extra levels to bring new players.

They have been working really hard on stuff lately, and I hope Slicing isnt all that smuggler is going to get, cuz that's not what "smuggler" brings to mind.

They're supposedly bringing along Smuggling missions too. And "content" is stuff like quests and storyline and actual areas to hunt and explore instead of just bland randomly generated stuff like every other planet.

Either way, banners for Empire Day? Compared to last years painting? PUH-LEEZ!
