I just read an interview with McCullum about the TV series that said Lucas will be working on the TV show for about 18 months and then handing it off to someone else. He also suggested that Kevin Smith will be writing and directing some of the episodes. He also talked about casting and that they were going to be going back to the guy that was the runner up for Anakin's role for a part in the TV show. He also said that Hasbro and Lucasfilm were hashing out a contract for producing the toys.

I think we should all petition to have our characters introduced into the TV show!

I just wanna write for the show. I'd be happy not getting paid for it, just to be able to say that I was able to write for the official SW universe.
