Looking for Composite Armor

Looking for Composite Armor, the kind with 80% kinetic and 60-70% other resists. Hoping to get it for a really damn goo price from someone in town or otherwise...

Oh yeah armor is gonna get nerfed soon, armorsmiths may want to start crafting the good stuff and store it away for safe keeping.

I bought my set from a guy named -STAR- on Naboo. He's usually AFK advertising his shop. The full set was 250K sold all at once in a backpack. The Kinetic resists was 80% and the rest of the resists was in the high 70% range. Good stuff.

Although I went out and bought a new set last week... I'd still like to know what the hell happened to my last set which i never even got to use. Did anyone find a backpack fulla 80% composite and use the finders keepers rule?

Seems like the devs feel armor is too powerful now, so don't get used to anything with 80% resists. I don't know if they are saving this for the rebalance or not. Lots of talk on it in the SOE forums though.

Anyway -STAR- has his full sets for like 375k now. I just spent a week camped on Dath fighting rancors unbuffed (letting others tank) and I finally just broke 100k for the first time with him. Now all his armor is disabled so I am pretty desperate to find a decent set for as cheap as possible.

Money is really hard to come by right now, especially now that NPCs have some brains and are using special moves during missions and stuff.

Special moves - cool and sucky at the same time. I got killed in the pirate cave recently. That doesn't happen anymore since I learned how to properly pike a pack of petulant pirates. No it's because one did a dizzy/KD combo!

So what food is good to prevent dizzy?

Furthering Derailment....

I don't know of any food that prevents dizzy but you can use Thakitillo to prevent knockdown. Just look for stuff in the 90% range and you're good to go.

How many of us in town need Comp suits? Gimme a number. My primary A'smith is named Runn Wilde, outside of Bestine.

He has the resists requested here and the best customer service of any A'smith I've ever dealt with. I'll be putting in a call to him ASAP with our needs in mind.

I have to admit, though, that I'm not seeing more loot dropping. I did the Cave for like, a half hour straight, and only got one Rebel Disk. Increased lood drops from what, 1 in 100 to 2 in 100?
