Please also keep in mind that the Ruby lake event starts later (10pm est) and basically runs all night (or for as long as Trasgo feels like running his radio show ) Last week worked quite well with people heading out to Ruby Lake for some late night fun after attending the Roba event.

Also Ruby Lake has live Djs and events happening pretty much every night of the week - our DJ calendar can be found here radio.cvcholo.net

Last night (thursday) was part two in the quest for the Great Pookie and a speeder racetrack was set up, the previous thursday was a scavenger hunt.

We hope to post more information on these events on this site soon so that everyone can enjoy them.

Just dont want to overload your events calender - as mentioned we hold radio shows (many with in-game events) every night of the week.

Uhm this post was hardly flaming, no need to get defensive....

Yet (and here comes a delete worthy flame) i can see how internal affairs are preferred by kreetles management, since its much easier to spread lies to newer members if you ask that other people not interract and talk with them.

You know the typical facts, like how Sti-Fi started the kreetles, how I tried to recruit them and sabotage them even though it was our 2 musicians that suddenly left in the middle of opening night and low and behold they are then kreetles and getting "special thanks" on the boards.

Maybe people are getting sick of your cloak and dagger backstabbing and BS. I know I am, next time you plan on flooding your members with lies and ignoring facts, try to do a better job of hiding it.

I think everyone knows whats really going on, but no one wants to admit it. We know that some people planned for certain things to be competitions, and that bitterness has taken over those people. I think everyone also knows that alot of things that some people are being told are lies, but I suppose it would be easier to just pretend that we're all good friends and hold hands.

Actually, the calander looks pretty clear to me to have any qestions about it. This post was NOT directed at anyone person or organization. The exact same point was brought up by me in a different forum and even there it wasnt singling out anything other then the fact that there is TO MUCH SHIT HAPPENING ON ONE DAY.

Yes, Fridays are rather full, but I think it is great to see so many things happening regardless of the day or time. At least people have options. Most events are going to be held on the weekends because that is when most people have time off.

Like N'epthys said, we always have things going on in Ruby Lake. Almost every night of the week there is a live DJ spinning tunes in the Ruby Lake Cantina, so drop by anytime or check the CvC DJ calendar for specific times. I just choose to advertise my show here on these forums to let everyone at swgtales know about it.

If you can't attend the party in Ruby Lake on Friday evenings, you can still tune into the radio station and be apart of the event, and when your normal Friday night activities are over you can join us in Ruby Lake. Last Friday there were still people in the cantina until 5 am EST. I usually keep spinning tunes if there are people hanging out and partying.

While I feel it would be nice to have things spread out, so we can all hang out together and RP. I don't want anyone to have to go out of their way to change their events and scheduling.

Whether you can make it to the Ruby Lake Cantina tonight or not, you are still welcome to tune into the radio station to join in on our event. If it sounds fun, drop on by after your regularly scheduled event. This is what a lot of people did last week and most people told me they had a blast and that they would be back. There are a lot of fresh faces, and most are dying to meet new people to RP with.

The DWB excursion is also scheduled for today yet the Kreetles event was singled out by Jabe.

The DWB excursion is also included in this train of thought. I understand some people have RL commitments aswell, but events have to level off. What this is doing is breaking up the community into chunks instead of promoting healthy fun RP, were forced into choosing who we have to hang out with instead of being able to hang out with everyone.

It would be great to see everyone hang out together and all but when you really look at it from an RP perspective do you really think that all these people would hang out with each other? No. I can honestly think of no real reason why my character would want to go to an imperial town.

But that being said there are too many different personalities to think that everyone will get along IRL and that people would hang out with each other. I don't think any of these events have trouble getting crowds as it is. They all have their players that are drawn to them and its just something we will have to live with.

The personality issues that seem to flare up on this topic need to stop in general. I am not singling anyone out. Everyone involved in this are adults. Act like it on the forums. Destroy each other ingame or in PM's. I don't care. But quit airing your dirty laundry in public.

People! Please! This is suppose to be a game. It doesn't even matter who created what or who goes where on what day in my opinion. I'll say I've got friends on all sides of this drama board.

What I would suggest is; Let people run their events. And if you feel the need to continue bickering pointlessly to elevate some need for a higher nook in the hen house; Do it in PMs!

Roba is FUN! Going to a Kreetles event is FUN! Ruby Lake is FUN! Everything everyone organizes in this community is FUN!

Our goal here should be to go to the events we find FUN on any one night for our personal likeings and for our Event Creators to 'not' hold it against someone if they go to one event over another sometimes.

Personally, I think it's healthy to have a lot going on in one night. It gives us something to do! Gauranteed something different here and there as well.

What is 'not' healthy is throwing around grievances on this board! I'm just going to say if you have a problem with someone talk to them in PM. In game if your big enough to do it. No one person here created Role Playing! And I gaurantee you there are more than one type of event we can make FUN in Star Wars Galaxies with this exceptional community.

This is the one and only warning. Keep the dirty laundry out of the thread or it gets locked. If you want to discuss better ways to plan events and work together so the community does not have to chose or miss out on anything please do.

Everyone is welcome to post their events on any day they wish. No one's event will be turned away within reason (use common sense on that one). We only HOPE you will all be civil and considerate of others when planning your events. Is that too much to ask.

Like I said, final warning. Don't let this thread get locked.
