To Zaph and everyone who decided to arrest me at the Roba...
Thanks, that was fun. I was actually getting bored and decided to leave when MP-lOl stopped me. I had a good time being messed with the way I usually mess with people.

The might of the Empire is everywhere. You can not escape our crackdown. :P Got some good screen shots of zannon being 'questioned'. Remind me to find a way to edit them to a decent size with crappy MS paint.

Yeah, Nyase suggested that I log on with the Colonel to help with the interregation. Congrats to you Zannon. A lot of people don't resign to being in the weaker position (Doux, or whatever that guy's name was).

I just played it in character. Zannon's not a very tough fighter, so he picks his fights wisely...unless he knows he can win, he usually tries to talk his way out of situations.

Same here fellas. I meant to post here early this morning congratulating you for that "shakedown", but I was so out of it from grinding TK, that my head literally hit the computer screen before I logged!
For some reason that I couldn't quite put my finger on, the Roba last night had a weird "boring-ness" hanging over it. And then!:
"You, Twi'lek."
Heh heh, great stuff! In my head, I'm thinking "this is how I should feel in this game, especially playing a Smuggler." That's the old "Star Wars feeling". In an opressive regime fighting an insurgency, anyone should expect to get hauled off a dance floor for "police business".
The bonus was that it gave me a chance to play what I believe is the essence of a smuggler. Cool, calm, and collected. Be so unassuming that you almost convince yourself that your character is legit. I too didn't mind having Keer in that "weaker position" because it fits the general story. If people in one of the Star Wars movies hassled Stormtroopers like you guys got hassled last night, a battalion would have came and leveled Dohrian. Ok, maybe just set up a permanent garrison, but *shrug* you know what I'm saying.
Anyway thanks for keeping it "real" guys.

I wanted to have the imperial emote for my scans, but I couldn't find any ID. Would've liked to have actually 'found' some contraband, but without being able to see what others have in their inventory, all i can do is a general scan with a crappy scanner that says everyone is clean.

Very happy with the Imperial entanglements at the Roba too. I was very impressed - and legitimately worried. Went out with a couple others to be background crowd at first and was relieved when nothing had to explode. Between that and Novall being particularly offensive that night, Sepiv decided to make an early departure and follow up a different lead that night.
Other than that, I agree, it was a somewhat quieter night at the Roba... can't put my finger on it.

One day...far on the distant horizon...SWG will be the bomb like that! No one can know for sure, but I believe that you will be able to do things like you're talking about and more...
Just imagine what computers in general will be like in 5 years.
I just hope that I'm not too busy with other things to enoy this game when it finally starts to shine all the way 'round.

Just as an FYI...If I did have more than 1 sliced gun on me, I would have sent you a /tell that said you found something on me...but, like I said in character, I was there for business, soooooo...I left the goodies at home that night.

I want to apologize for being very late to the Roba, then going AFK shortly after arriving. I practically missed the entire thing.
I'm not sure if that effected the boringness of it or not, but I am certain I did nothing to make it more fun.
Belligerent imperials are ALWAYS a big hit in my book. I sure hope they never interrogate me. I have too many secrets.
If you guys have and ideas on how to spice up the Roba, feel free to discuss them here.

What ever happenned to Pisces Cilantra? Her performance was one of the things that hooked me onto the Roba wayyy back when! For those of you who have never seen or interacted with Pisces, she had one helluva show. That girl was against the law!Ekade wrote: If you guys have and ideas on how to spice up the Roba, feel free to discuss them here.
She had her own song lyrics. And her costume changes were the BizzOMB!

Right on! I mean, the entire reason why I made a couple songs to sing was because I was inspired hearing there was this wholly unique song called "Smuggler's Blues!" I really am still waiting to hear that song. :-(

Nahh, Sepiv. That song, Smuggler's Blues, is one of the songs that Pisces did a "Star Wars cover" job on.Sepiv wrote:Right on! Remember the TV show Miami Vice? That's where it came from. Glen Frey of The Eagles wrote and performed it. Pisces just switched some of the nouns around, BUT, Keer did love when she did it, being in that line of work and all. /shrug
You can -ahem- acquire that song on the 'net if you'd like to hear it with music. I love it, personally.
There was one song that was origninal that you should like, Sepiv. It was called Bounty Hunter. I liked that one too. Either way, Pisces put on some good stuff.
Let's see whatcha wrote, Jinxy!

Ahhhhh, ok. I'm not too familiar with that song but should check it out. So where is Pisces anyway?
Oh I didn't do anything original, I confess. I used the lyrics from Ace of Base for one playful song - she's gonna getcha.
And then I used the lyrics from Dirty Vegas for a more moody, techno song, Days Go By. That one was dedicated to Sepiv's mistress in the order of the sisterhood and I really emoted the heck out of it to be expressive since it's so hard to get across mood in a text song. Of course, having lost the ability to dance Poplock2, I can no longer have all that timing and look like it once was. It was really sweet before. I'll have to perform that song sometime -- but there isn't good enough moody techno music.
